English is not my mother tongue - please take my apologies.
I have been skeptical about steam for a long time, it was mainly about HL 1 and how steam killed parts of the vivid modding- and clan-community. On my terms that was mainly around the firearms-mod.
But I made some peace with steam around the release of HL 2 (I needed that game 8-) and since then became a collector of games on Steam.
Now that I "own" around 200 steam-games purchased over the period of 10+ years they cut me off from the well established steam-market cause I dont wanna use a dumb-phone.
They call this security-reasons - I call it their wish to push/establish themselves on the app-market and a surrender on pc-security.
Whatever is true here, I wish I had stayed with my earlier opinion - with this behaviour steam is not an acceptable platform for me.
Once my wallet is depleted I will stop to buy anything on steam, till they change their ridiculous and annoying so called security-options.
