War thunder used to be a game I loved. I could log in and do several enjoyable things. Over time it unfortunately began to slowly get worse. First they took away the daily first win XP multiplier and replaced it with some really lame trophy/consumable system. Why would I want to replace a reward that is going to benefit me with some stupid consumable that gives my team +10% xp????? Then the prices of premiums began to slowly creep up. War Thunder was a very reasonably priced game when I started playing around 2013. Now it has premiums that cost $60 USD. There is also a litany of issues that plague non Soviet ground vehicles that have never been fixed. The tech tree has several pay walls that make many vehicles unplayable stock. Burying needed modifications behind stupid useless mods. The repair costs for vehicles vs SL gained also continues to be an issue. Overall the game favors certain nations and heavily encourages pay to win. It did not used to be this way. I miss the old War Thunder.

During one of the many random crashes the save became corrupted causing me to lose 13 hours of progress. This game is essentially a remake of Mercenaries 2 World in Flames including all the bugs.

This game is bad. Really bad.
