2014 is back

It's really good for a singleplayer coop game

The main problem with RockSmith+ is the sub model causes music labels to not want to licenses music to them for fractions of a penny per play. That's why RockSmith+ is the first music game with a publisher the size of Ubi to release with 5,000+ songs from the bargain bin.

I'm going to assume they collected sub fee's from the first year just to make the Warner deal happen but at the cost of their core playerbase that was created over a decade by the last 2 games.

Now along with the bargain bin slop you get covers of songs and bands you've heard of without their hits. Also keep in mind that the majority of songs have AI charts with the community having the option to fix the charts for them.

Now the plan is to release RockSmith+ on Steam, consoles and mobile to attempt to create a new playerbase after screwing over the old one, lmao.

If you don't own RockSmith 2014 but still want to learn using RockSmith play along to Youtube videos with the Tonex you bought because you didn't sub to RS+

RockSmith Also has some fanboys that push the game, I suggest you ignore them.

Requiring a psn account 3 month after release is insane

The core gameplay needs a lot of work and only 5 reviews have put a decent amount of time into the game but the amount of positive reviews fooled me.

Gunplay doesn't feel great and the pistol alignment is off on the quest 2

Zombies have a lame rush after being shot in an attempt to make the game exciting but it's just repetitive and you can easily bonk them to death with melee to avoid it.

The map looks big but it breaks down into into paths that lead to small area's repeatedly with a few a buildings modeled inside.

Online has a player cap of 4 which seems pretty low for PvP or open CO OP maps

Looting doesn't feel rewarding and you can make a private PvP map then grab weapons and other items while ignoring zombies then place them in the extraction box.

I'd say the main player motivation is leveling and that takes 6 to 7 hours judging by the playtime of the reviews

In it's current state I'd say it should be a $15 game with the option to buy a supporter package or skins

The last thing is 5 games are being worked on by what I'd assume is a small team and that's probably the real problem.
