Steeper learning curve than I expected, but still a lot of fun. If you like tower defense or base building games, but found them a bit boring, this might be right up your alley.

Being able to control a combat unit while also playing essentially a tower defense is not something I ever knew I needed, but its great once you play it.

I mean if you've played the first one you've played this one, but I do appreciate some of the quality of life features, the graphical improvements, and the more in depth genetic choices.

If you like city builders/park simulators and you like dinosaurs, you will definitely enjoy this. Just make sure you really do like those kind of games, because the micro-management in a big park can get pretty intense.

For me that's perfect, but others might find it tedious, so fair warning in that regard.

Forced ray-tracing issues aside, this is a really fun entry in the franchise. I am very much enjoying the more strategic combat compared to Eternal's twitchy mechanics.

An excellent entry in the franchise.

Prepare to delete your social life.

This is a very good DLC, it allows skyscrapers and provides shopping malls, creating a pseudo extra tier beyond investor. Great for long playthroughs.

The game itself is great actually. The matchmaking is, as with most hero arena games, completely atrocious.

If you win a game you can be assured its followed by a punishing loss.

This is probably the worst game I've ever played. Nothing about it is redeeming unless you enjoy things being hard for the sake of being hard.

Tedious, boring. Unfun.

This game is simply a masterpiece JUST BUY IT.

I got it for free with my new CPU but its worth every penny at full price.

Its a throwback to what gaming used to be: fun campaign, fun co-op, fun PVP, no 'live service features' to screw up the fun.

This game knows exactly what it wants to be, and doesn't try to be anything else but that.

Fair warning though: this game is meant to be enjoyed with friends, on the highest difficulty. A solo campaign play through is extremely short. For people like that liked older games from the 2005-2012 time period, this will be exactly what you want. Others looking for a more modern experience may find themselves wanting more.

I finished the campaign on Normal difficulty solo in just 8 hours of playtime, but it was an intense and very fun 8 hours.

This game is nothing short of a complete Tour de Force by a SINGLE DEV.

The quality here surpasses in many aspects what 'AAA' studios have been putting out, but also calls back to an earlier time in gaming when the developer didn't hold your hand the entire time.

Sometimes you get lost, sometimes you get stuck, sometimes you die 10 times on the same sequence. But that's half the fun of a single play campaign, or it used to be.

This dev deserves nothing but the highest praise and I really hope he is able to start his own studio with the success of this game. If this is what he could do on his own, I can hardly imagine how good a game he could make with a full team.

He has done a simply incredible job of creating an intense brutal atmosphere, with punishing enemies, exciting weapon choices, and a very clean campaign. It reminds me of the great moments in games like Half Life 1/2, F.E.A.R., Silent Hill, and Outlast all combined into one. Some people have said the enemies hit too hard, but I don't think that's true. Its a challenge, but its really rewarding when you succeed, and is also hardly impossible.

Games in this style the challenge is in COMPLETING THE CONTENT, not mindlessly farming the content for achievements. Its a different style than the norm in 2024, and its refreshing to see.

Clearly the dev was inspired heavily by this era of gaming, and he doesn't just do it justice, this is a new seminal entry that will change the direction of indie horror FPS for quite some time to come.

Just buy it, you will thank yourself later.

Well it was fun until I faced an impossible to defeat boss that kills you in 3 hits and has 20x your HP and is faster than you in every way. Maybe remove this utter **** sucking nonsense from the game. Idk.
