A stuttering mess of constantly shifting imbalanced mechanics. This is not Dark Souls at its best; its From struggling with a broadly repetitive and recycled engine that doesn't measure up since it was first used in its games.

Feels like a better civilization than the last 3 Civilization games. Deep customization and ethical choices to shape your faction, and solid combat that addresses long standing formulas in the Civilization franchise. Clearly made with good understanding of what makes the Civ games great. Wonderful soundtrack, interface, etc.

Tongue in cheek narrative with clean brawler mechanics, diverse fighting styles, and a relatively good balance of Ninten-hard 8-bit retro gameplay that punishes but never feels needlessly punishing. Good for the occasional afternoon pick up game with friends.

One of the last WoW clones still trying to compete in the market where it will never be competitive. The publisher, Daybreak, has already delivered minimal content for maximized prices, fleecing the few thousand addicts of their cash, even as they dream of one day affording a MAGA hat so they too can pretend to be rich. Any semblance of lore is abandoned in ways that would make Christopher Tolkien moist for the abuses it heaps upon J.R.R.. Daybreak instead focuses on harvesting its long tail of addicts, in the same way a nursing home convinces relatives of the dying to shell out for care they can't afford just to keep a mortuary at bay.

This game was a hot blond bombshell 12 years ago. Now its a crooning old woman cursing her relatives for not letting her suck down a bottle of valium to end her own misery gracefully.

As a huge fan of Warsong on the Sega Genesis, I was excited to play Langrisser I and II (Warsong = US version of Langrisser). However, the difficulty of this game and the overall game play are much weaker than the older/original versions of Langrisser games.

The unit balance is bugged on many of the missions, making them a cakewalk on even the hardest difficulties. The different gear and hero upgrades are effectively meaningless stat buffs that have no measurable impact on battles. While the story branches make it easy to roll back to prior paths as you play through, given the busted battle mechanics and lack of meaningful character progression, repeating similar fights and side paths to see the alternative storylines turns into a chore.

Overall not worth the money.

The game captures Hideo Kojima's love for humanity and thoughts as an artist on the solutions to existential angst and nihilism. Its a wild ride, and worth every minute of it.

This ♥♥♥♥ is still in Alpha. Last played Sep, 2016. This ♥♥♥♥ is the reason why Early Access is a scam.

This is the best side-scrolling beat em up to come out in 20 years. This not only captures the essence of crisp gameplay, rocking soundtracks, and over the top 80s dystopian punk, but exceeds its predecessors in every way. Truly a master class in execution that rewards button mashing and careful, skill based timing alike.

What a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ theme park with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game play. "Epic" stories are what people nostalgically remember of FF in the 80s and 90s. Its been on a long slow decline ever since, and this MMO is no different from the rest of the series. Mediocre gameplay anchored to the ham-fisted global cooldown; inane cliched plots filled with weeb lolis; end game content that is replaced year after year with an endless stream of +1 increments that immediately obsolete everything you might work for even as you run postal service errands with the powers of a god. This game isn't worth your time. The final fantasy was always that Square Enix knows how to make a decent RPG in 201x.

This game is incoherent garbage. I've played through all the way to the endings with Joseph Seed, and every boss fight was crap. The villains are all 1 dimensional and nowhere near as compelling as Pagan Min from Farcry 4 or Vaas or even Hoyt from Farcry 3. The gameplay is shallow, and much like the tripe of Fallout 4, this series continues to get more shallow with every iteration. Its not worth your time, or your money. Just watch the Youtube endings if you want to catch the plot - it will take you 15 minutes or so, which is less time than you'll waste downloading this $90 steaming pile of crap.
