This game is one I have arguably, the greatest "Love/Hate" relationship with. One one had you have a IP spawned from decades of previous games, that for no apparent reason has take the biggest detour away from being a true fallout game. You add-in features like Gun Modding, Settlement Management etc. which would be great additions, if it didn't take heavy modding to make the features remotely interesting.

The worst part about it, is you add a class of guns (Pipe Weapons), which gives this whole feeling of "It's the Apocalypse. I have to scavenge and claw to survive in the Wasteland; only to make them entirely useless within the first 10 minutes of play. Why add something that 9/10 people will stop using?

This is a great example of a game where if you're a tolerant person, this is a good game and worth buying during sales. If you aren't tolerant, but still want to give it a go - go and explore the mod scene and set yourself up with a version you CAN tolerate.

For everyone else: Yes, your decision to save your money and invest your time in other games was a wise decision.
