eh. story's okayish but its like.meh.

Really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good when it came out, dated as ♥♥♥♥. Like, it's like 4 polygons in total and you need to research the ability to swing a spiny rock, which is more deadly than a lightsabre somehow. oh lazer rapier, sorry. Story is pretty good shodan is amazing, will still sometimes make you sihtt yourself even with the use of only 2-3 pixels.

Better than it's bad control system would lead you to believe. Not as hard as you'd think in a lot of places and much harder in others. Varies wildly.

Probably the best value for money game for normal people. So if you're not into pretending you're a wizard but still want to have fun in a sort of american hollywood movie lifestyle type of way this is probably what you're going to be buying. very nice graphics for it's time, quite fun and lighthearted compared to a lot of stuff they're making at the moment. Better than skyrim, because the dev actually wanted to make a quality product.

Orc killing simulator.

This is probably the best bit of half life you'll ever play.

I was going to give this a good review because i feel that crytek deserve money for their graphics, but then i got to a bossfight that punished me for being creative and forced me to only do 2 things die or make 1 of 2 choices.

Other than that the graphics are absolutely spectacular, it is unlikely that you'll see better in the next 3-4 years. They truly are absolutely masterful. 11 out of 10. not even metro redux has this much style.

The enemies are repeated a bit too much to be honest, crysis 1 had a system in which enemies would all dress differently, this is basicaly fat guy hitting simulator, you fight some skinny dude which angers a fat gu with a shield and you repeat this like 40x then you run into armoured dudes and it becomes armoured dude killing simulator.

The story is very good and some of the mechanics are quite cool like the phalanx. It also displays how romans were technologically superior than their rivals, even though they do kind of paint them as being space-age instead of just some dudes in a field who were less retarded than the other dudes whose wives they wanted to own.

Its a very mixed bag in what it accomplishes, its got some really cool ♥♥♥♥ and then its got boring crap in it too, i suspect that the console audience are to blame because they're not smart enough to understand anything more complicated than god of war. It's got that dumb latchy onto target combat that makes you feel like you're locked into a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ box when fighting. But then its got parts where you're basically the actual god of war commanding catapaults and troops and just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ up the way the rest of the game should be. It's like slogging through ebola-ridden turds because every now and then one of the people who crapped those turds out also slawwowed one of their gold teeth before they died and managed to crap it out for you to go and find.
