I’ve updated my review to explain in detail the issues with version 1.0.
As someone who had been eagerly waiting for it, hoping for real gameplay improvements and meaningful additions, I was very disappointed.

A lot of the changes are negative: illogical mechanics, animation bugs, and an overall feeling of regression as if we’ve gone back to the 1980s.
Example: the tractor, which was supposed to be a new feature, is completely useless. It can carry 28 logs, while a Rager can carry 33. Where’s the logic in that?

Another issue: animations. Since version 1.0, our character completely stops during certain reloads. It’s now impossible to reload the driver’s weapon (like a pistol) while inside a vehicle. In games like Arena Breakout or Tarkov, you can reload while moving. Here, there’s not even an unloading animation. It feels like a half-finished feature.

The weight system is also a disaster.
With 3 strength, you’re limited to 39 kg. My standard gear (quiver, body armor, ghillie suit, tactical vest, gloves, melee holster, sporran, boots, and a weapon) already reaches 30 kg without a backpack. So if I want to loot, I’m immediately overloaded.
After a full farm run, with a backpack filled (up to 60 kg), my character can barely walk with 90 kg.
In the nuclear zone, it’s easy to come out with 140 kg of loot. The result? A huge waste of time. This isn’t a walking simulator especially not one with random zombie spawns, Boomers everywhere, robots shooting through walls, and rain that adds even more weight. It's unplayable.
And another strange issue: you can’t equip a helmet with the ghillie sweatshirt anymore. Is that intentional, or a bug?

Visually, the game has clearly improved (textures, lighting, shaders), but in terms of map design, it’s another story.
They added way too many trees, removed rocks and lootable buildings (especially in the radioactive zone) without any real logic behind it.
The level designer behind the new towns and structures seems to have no vision as a player. Entire areas with great gameplay potential were simply removed not reworked, just erased.

There’s also still nothing new in terms of character stats strength, constitution, dexterity they still aren’t well integrated.
And they removed 10 abandoned bunkers and 3 standard ones, only to replace them with… two doors, four lockers, and a couple of boxes?
We’ve lost meaningful content just to improve visual performance, at the cost of gameplay fun.
Each standard bunker was unique, and removing them (especially the one on the island in Z4, which was really special) feels pointless. This is not what I expected from a 1.0 version that’s supposed to mark a new chapter in SCUM—not just a farming nerf to boost framerate.

In short, very disappointed.
New players who never knew SCUM before might enjoy it, but for veterans or PvP players, it’s just not great anymore.
You can’t even carry two weapons (like the M82) without being punished by the weight system you just walk.
That’s my honest opinion.
