Another early access game that is great in its current state.

Its VR mode is amazing and terrifying at the same time.

Every match is completely different from the last and I love that.

This game is truly one of a kind and I'm really looking forward to the future of this game!

This is a Half-Life game! The sounds are absolutely amazing and nostalgic. Headcrabs are holy sh*t terrifying (like I almost sh*t myself). New Combine enemies create a new dynamic for how to take on the specific combine soldiers rather than just pointing and shooting like in half life 2. Antlions look stunning and are satisfying to kill. There are moments many moments in the game where the gameplay changes and its one of the best things a game can offer. The gravity gloves are very smooth when trying to grab stuff. Throwing things is also smooth. If Valve ever sees this; this game already has me stunned. You have done a good job Valve, keep up to good work! I've been waiting years for the day a new Half-Life would come out and this has not disappointed me. I hope you guys see this review and understand that you have not lost your touch. The ending has absolutely taken me away, all I ask Valve is you don't leave us on cliffhanger for another decade, I would like to see a final ending to this amazing series, and with what you have done here I'm sure you can do it. All you have to decide is if your going to release it on VR or not......... this is the time to choose Valve..............

I recently just got VR and this is the game that I have been putting in most my hours atm because when I saw gameplay of this I was amazed at the details taken with the zombies and I was not disappointed when I finally got to play it. Killing zombies in this game has to be one of the most satisfying feelings ever in gaming and in the zombie genre. You really feel like you have to be precise in the amount of force and location you are about to stab or slice. The environments have a lot of interactability and there is loot everywhere. You can even take things like a bottle, screwdriver, nail board..etc. and use them as weapons instead of using them as craftables. If you still manage to keep it without destroying it you can still use it as craftables which is amazing. Crafting is amazing, it makes you really want to look around for loot to find something to make things or upgrade your crafting stations to get better stuff. It has a great story and when I got to the end I really felt all my previous decisions were weighing on me to make the right choice. When I made my final choice it really felt satisfying to see what happened (not going to spoil but for those of you who have beaten the game you know what im talking about). Using guns will definitely not feel the same as playing pavlov or another game that takes priority with guns but for a game that doesn't I am damn impressed. It really feels like you got to be precise in order to not waste ammo or not to destroy your weapon too quickly.

There are some things that can piss you off however, the combat between you and other survivors is really tough. you have to be super precise with your shots or else your going to die real quick because they have sniper aim. If you get too close to them your going to shoot them as quick as possible or else get a hail fire of bullets that is extremely difficult to run away from. Your stamina is really small and you can barely run far. I find it almost impossible to sneak around the enemies when going for intel on missions where the intel is inside their base. It gives you no way of getting around them to get to it.

If the devs could make a continuation on the story that would be great or open up a new map area with a entirely new story keeping your current crafting stations levels and adding additional levels or put your crafting station levels back to zero. I would also like to have more and different loot and weapons to find.

I definitely recommend this game if your looking for a story driven zombies game with realistic stabbing animations and loot findings

***Best open beta/co-op horror game I have ever played***

Pros:
- From casual gamers to soundboard abusers, the people you will meet on this game are truly
the best.
- The sound effects in this game will truly make your spine tingle.
- The game mechanics of the game are not that bad, but for an open beta they are at there
best.
- Does not require you to have the top of the line PC.
- Does not require lots of hard drive space.
- Many servers and most are populated.
- Not hard to learn the enemy's strengths and weaknesses

Cons:
- This game will take you a couple of hours to get used to the mechanics and will take even
longer
to get used to the map structure.
- Loading into games may take longer than usual.
- When you die you will have to wait till round end or when you are respawned
(this however does take an extended period of time).
- Not top of the line graphics.
- If you don't cooperate with other players of your class, then it will make the
game more challenging for you to play.
- No ammo count unless you have a specific mod for your weapon.
- no icon to when your talking... you will just have to assume when you press the push to talk
button you will be talking.


BTW, did I tell you that this game is entirely FREE with NO ADDONS or DLC, WOW! finally a fun game I can enjoy where there is no pesky need to unlock with money bullsh*t!

Overall I would recommend this game to people with a lot of time on their hands (to learn map and game mechanics) and people who enjoy co-op horror games.

I wouldn’t recommend this game for newer racers looking to start but I would recommend this game to people who have experience at playing racing games or racers looking for a new challenge.

Personally, I like and enjoy this game but, at the start of the first race I thought this was going to be easy, but I was wrong… you see, this game takes a lot of practice to get used to and if you don’t have the patience to learn a new way of playing, then don’t buy this game.

I would also like to say that, I wouldn’t buy this game if it isn’t on sale because there are so many sales that it wouldn’t be worth it to buy it full price.
