Bought the game about a week ago and I've had no crashes so far. Do yourself a favor and get 32GB of RAM if you don't already. I've seen the game hit as high as 20GB usage. My rig is a few years old now so I gotta turn some settings down a bit to get decent frames. I'm using High preset and turned some shadow settings down to Medium. The game gets intense at some points where you have to be smart and not rush in guns blazing so it's not a mindless zombie shooter. If you're not already familiar with the storyline and gameplay you're in for a treat!

As of this review it's been five weeks since release. Milling around on planets investigating abandoned settlements or finding crash sites with escape pods is actually pretty cool but I just can't tolerate the random crashes anymore. You can reinstall and verify game files all day long and it won't make a difference. Tonight I had seven crashes in about 30 minutes. Stay away until they stabilize this mess.
