Just finished this game at 30 hours. It feels like I just got done playing through one of the most well written books I've read. Every character has meaning and worthwhile presence to the world. Each piece of the world you touch has some sort of meaning to it. Failure is inevitable and you start off at the lowest of lows. That said, failure is expected and not something to be feared in this game. Almost all checks can be re-taken, and even those that can't be retaken don't usually kill or lock you from doing things in the game.

Your mental demons assist you all the time. Like a good DM making you roll for Perception, Reflexes, or Lore skill checks, the game shows you info as mental notes, quips or sometimes full blown conversations.

Go into this game knowing as little as you can manage, and go with one of the three pre-set classes. This is a game where you really are screwing yourself over trying to be a do-it-all.
