It's quite impressive how much depth there is to this game. It's got a ton of playable characters, each with their own skills, traits, and personal "Big Quest" to fulfill on top of the standard objectives on each floor.

You can complete most quests in the game in a variety of ways; if you have to "Neutralize" an NPC, you can kill them with your weapons, or you could talk to them and ask them or threaten them to leave, and that will fulfill the quest if successful! The randomized city and the tons of character variety will give you endless hours of fun in your quest to overthrow the Mayor!

As a fan of Diablo and Diablo 2, I must say this game is exactly what I like! Lots of depth and fun to be had! Mix and match classes, skills granted by items, and Devotions for a near endless number of character builds! Would easily recommend this game over Diablo 3 or the upcoming Diablo 4!

Anyone who's ever been interested in a modern take on classic RPGs, give Outward a try! It's an RPG with elements of a Survival game. It's much more cerebral than the RPGs of today; there's no fast travel or quest tracking in Outward, and there's no "You Are Here" marker on your map either. You have to figure out where to go and what to do on your own, and you must decide on what you want to take with you, as you have limited inventory space. (though you can get more space by finding or crafting bigger backpacks)

A lot of people don't like the combat in this game, but like I said before, you have to be more careful than you would in other games where you would have plenty of healing items or regenerating health. Taking damage in combat has more consequences than just losing health; your maximum health is also reduced until you rest in a bed or a tent, and enemy attacks can inflict status ailments, or cause bleed or poison to do additional damage. Luckily, falling in battle is never a Game Over; instead of dying, your character will revive in a series of randomly selected scenarios where you have to recover and possibly take revenge on who or what knocked you out in the first place.

There are a few glitches and confusing parts to the game, but those are minor compared to the exploration and options available to you. I think it's a lot of fun!

A classic 2D Shoot-em-Up with a classic cartoon artstyle; a match made in Heaven! (or is it Hell, considering the goal of this game?) It's a tough, but fair challenge for any hardcore shooting fans! The artstyle and the jazzy music have kept me smiling as I play, even when I'm getting killed repeatedly by the same boss over and over again.

If you are a fan of games like Contra, Metal Slug, Gunstar Heroes, or other fun, challenging 2D shooters, this is a game you should definitly consider adding to your library!

If a Dragon Ball Z game that allows you to create your own character isn't tempting enough, how about a brand new story where that character has to fix the Dragon Ball Z timeline? Plenty of clothing and customization options to choose from, as well as your choice of Earthling, Saiyan, Namekian, Majin, and Frieza races. You can customize your character's special attacks! Throw a Kamehameha as a Frieza race character, or throw Death Balls as a Namekian; it's whatever you want!

Some of the online features are quite buggy though. I've had online Parallel Quests glitch up where I can't attack the enemies (or they simply don't appear), or the clock freezes, and I've been in online fights with other players where the hit detection goes bonkers. I still find the game to be lots of fun though, and I recommend it, especially to any fans of Dragon Ball Z out there!

I seem to recommend a lot of titles with zombies in 'em, and this is gonna be another one. Take the classic edutainment title The Oregon Trail and replace the setting of 19th century emigrants with the zombie apocalypse and you've got this game. You can still go hunting for supplies, name your party after your friends (and secretly chuckle when they die of dysentery) trade with towns and cross rivers. (The rivers are made of zombies instead of water this time around)

This game has some minor technical issues, but is a really fun and challenging Survival Horror title! Rather than the zombie power fantasy of most other games, NMRiH strives to be more of a simulated zombie survival experience, with dangerous shamblers, deadly runners, and small, but sneaky chilldren. Ammo is scarce, one bite has the potential to infect you, and you can only take so many hits before you're food for the undead! Can you survive?
