This game starts of very charming. You are being attacked at night by monsters from 4 portals that exist at both sides of your 2D kingdom. You recruit beggars to become builders, peasants, archers and (only 4 at a time) knights. Two things makes this game a thumbs down. One is how extremely simple it is. You use more or less the first logical strategy that you try out. You will also find yourself wondering why you can’t build at a certain place or chop a certain tree. Nothing is explained and not everything is obvious. For example. Grass won’t grow past your walls and rabbits won’t come without grass. So you need to wait with walls until grass has passed where you want to build.

This game is a one night stand, don’t pay for it.

This is what I wished for the sequel of the original game. More nomes and nomes that help out and follow you. YES! This chapter is more or less you looking for helpers to use for clearing up puzzles before they finally fix a machine for you to move on with.

The puzzles are nice and the sneaking is on a regulated level. Pro tip: when the janitor sniffs he/she doesn’t actually smell you, you made a sound.

The game does however struggle with some buggy ♥♥♥♥. I had to redo one part 3 times due to nomes getting stuck in the environment. Please polish the game before release.

This chapter is not of the gooderler kind. You start off just walking and jumping, chasing a kid that just disappears. The original game was similar in it’s slow start. The difference there is that that game build atmosphere with this. This game just says “hey, remember being here in the first game?”. The main game is you getting from point A to point B without getting drowned by the “granny”. There is a bit of creepiness to her for sure but the level design is dull. The puzzles can’t really be called puzzles and it’s more buggy than the original.

This is not a bad experience I suppose but it is a forgettable one and for a game that doesn’t rest on the gameplay that is a problem.

I soo wanted to like this game but alas to no avail. What makes a game good is story, gameplay, characters, music and looks, to make the list shorter than it actually is.

The story is as bland as they go.
The characters are paper-cutouts with just a small amount of likeable paint on them.
The gameplay is monotonous with no tactics to it at all except wait before an attack to make it stronger.
The music... I don't know, I played it in public so muted.
The look is terrible. Don't give me that crap about "It looked good back then." No it didn't.

The short point of this stick is that the game isn’t good. It never really was. It was an ok game that didn’t age well. Run fools…. RUN!

OBS! This game is for kids. My recommendation is a kids only one.

The game is a classic point and click without the funny animations. They have some fun characters here and the puzzles are mostly logical even if some are a bit of a guessing game. The story is interesting enough for kids I believe. I imagine a 10-year old playing this.

The game is slightly bare bones however with almost no jokes and things/characters to interact with outside of the main story. This makes the world seem dead and the game linear. I which they put some more work into making things happen and people interact because it’s fun and not only for the sake of progress. You won’t be playing this and talk to your friends about cool little stuff you found.

This game is beautiful. You already know this. I can’t speak for the music since I’ve played it muted (on the train). This is a platforming point and click. Most puzzles are logical and maybe too easy. The game does have some of the classic point and click flaws like,

I didn’t see this object so now I’m running around looking at corners trying to find it… Brainwork!
I tried doing this three times but it didn’t work what does the guide say? Oh, I was right but I stood one step too
much to the right?

Even though the game is charming and mostly logical I can’t recommend it. The reason is that it’s too simplistic with no characters or story to speak of. It’s a forgettable experience with pleasing artwork.

Works for LInux though!

This is a shooter with just enough variation to fit everyone. You can play a tower defence like mode where you co-operate against hoards of AI. You can go team deathmatch. You can fight over who can make the most aliens drunk. The list goes on. The reason I recommend this is mostly since it’s a free game that works on most computers and as previously mentioned, works for most people. I’ve lured in more then one friend to steam through this game.

There are some BS microtransactions here but they don't bother much and it's only in your face at the main menu. In gameplay you forget they even have it.

I will probably rewrite this later but the short of it is that this game really works as an "easy" and fast RTS because of how important it is to choose your units. Not only for which ones to bring to every war but also which ones to to use for each battle. The fact that you might need to rearrange your tactics depending on what units your enemies are using, makes the game more fluent and exciting!

More or less every complaint you can see here is true. I still recommend it on a huge sale though.

The story mode have some interesting events like a big battle with possibilities to ambush. Another one is to hurry up reconstruction of a dam before another natural disaster happens, all while wild animals attack sporadicly. The problem is that none of these are executed in a good manner it all falls flat. The story itself is not even worth mentioning.

Why I still recommend this during 80-90% off is because it still gives you some more of a good game. The buildings are beautiful but the character models is nothing new. This DLC is a disappointment but not completely useless.

This game is a easy puzzler you play for fun. The single player is humorous and makes you think enough. The portal gun is still awesome. The game has added co-op since the first one and even though I haven’t finished that part I can tell you it’s fun. Trying to solve puzzles with a friend that can also kill you when bored, is both exciting and fun. It forces you to be quick before your friend gets creative with the portal gun and your life ends in pieces.

This game is not the greatest of them all but still ends up to be a must buy.
