For a beat em up game this has alot to it and if youre looking to 100% it you spend many hours attempting to do so. Along with the usual ladder theres also a pretty solid story which personaly ive never experienced in a beat em up before. Another part to the game is the challenge tower which tasks you to complete certain challenges such as beat a fighter with no arms,fight upside down or many others. There is a krypt which contains many collectables, these can be aquired through coins which are rewarded by carrying out fights, challenges etc etc. Its a tough game, and one I just couldnt get the hang of using my xbox controller until I switched to keyboard. This made the game alot more enjoyable and also alot easiar to carry out special moves. The online side of the game can be laggy but can also run very well if the person your fighting isnt on the other side of the world. One word of warning to achievmeent hunters, there are known to be a few faulty achievements for some people but not all. Overall this is by far the most fun ive had with this type of game and I wholeheartedly recommend it 8.5/10

Just thought id try out some of the dlc for this game. Up first was this... Crew Expendable, and what can I say other than wtf eh! 20 mins of nothing..... avoid if you dont already own it via the season pass or other means. You wont see nothing in this which isnt already in the main game. VERY POOR DLC

A very average top down/isometric shooter, pretty fun in coop, bland on your own. Its also pretty easy, even the difficulty insane is doable alone for some people. Guns can be upgraded, as can your secondary weapons such as grenades, drones and even remote controlled cars. Story consists of insect numbers growing out of control due to global warming, a pesticide is used which makes things worse in more ways than one. Its upto you to save the planet..... are you upto it?? 5.5/10

I know most of the reviews are positive for this game but for once im going against the grain. I didnt really enjoy it, hoping at first for a mario type game I was dissapointed to find it didnt really have any resemblance to the italian plumber at all other than the obvious platform/style. Theres a twist to the levels... at certain points you can press the evert button which changes how clouds and stepping stones etc behave. Using this you can advance further into the 8 levels. The game is short and wont take you long to 100%. You will need to read a guide to accomplish this though as one achievement needs you to edit a level in the map editor. This is very simple though... so dont be put off. Overall its not the best game but thats not to say some wont enjoy it more than I did. Score? 4/10

A cute indie game, one ive enjoyed very much. This is one cheap game I definately recommend, its very similar to Rogue Legacy... in the sense, once your character dies what he has managed to collect is left for the following hero. Theres different weapons to pick up, skills and traits. 10 levels in all with a final boss level, each very similar but varying in enviroment from castles to snow. Its a easiar game than the above mentioned Rogue Legacy imo although... thats not to say its not a challenge because it is. Overall I rate it 7.5/10

Do you like exploration games? Then you may like this although you may not. Generally this game boils down to wandering around aimlessly through a snowy enviroment listening for the flutter of paper in the wind which indicates a note to collect. You are given a compass and map but without having the ability to place waypoints or see where you are on the map I found these pretty much useless. The horror elements are literally non existent, the sound scaring you more than anythingelse. The story is based on a true story but with crap narration done by Mr Sean Bean himself you dont feel like you completely get it, given to you in a muddled up manner. You feel like you need to put the notes in order at the end of the game, and then read it through carefully to fully grasp what there trying to say. Another annoying thing is the stamina, I understand its hard going walking through snow but this is a game and a game should be fun. An extension to the amount of time given before you get tired wouldve worked better. Also being unable to jump or climb leaves you following trails,,, you can forget about stepping over that pebble. Theres also many places where you can get stuck which will require a restart. Achievement wise its very easy, none are challenging and only need you to be in the right place on the map. Overall I cant recommend this game, 5/10

This game gets a full recommendation from me, its a awesome game. Im yet to play the dlc`s so this is just the main game im talking about here. When I first started playing the game I wasnt amazed, it seemed slow and the story was going straight over my head. Its not until youre second play through you begin to understand the jist of it all. The game plays very similar to a resident evil so if youve ever played one of those youre know what to expect. The world which this game takes place in is nothing short of awesome!! dream like and freaky is the best way to describe it. Rooms warp into others leaving the main character unsure of where he actually is. The graphics are decent with some great special effects and the sound is once again top quality. It mayb like Resident Evil and be made by the same guy but it doesnt suffer from that games crap camera angles, choosing a third person view has worked well along with well timed cut scenes. At parts this game will scare you... particularly Laura, she reminds me of the grudge and the ring `shivers`. Overall a great game, one I totally recommend to anyone stupid enough to read this. Achievement wise it takes 3-4 playthrough`s to 100%.

An intresting game with a pretty decent story line imo. At first I didnt like the game, it seemed like a poor console port, with invisible walls stopping you from accessing certain areas, for eg. a 40ft mech unable to advance past a 1ft step. After awhile though you tend to forgive this poor design and just enjoy the game for what it is..... and that is a pretty decent third person game with plenty of well hidden collectables and exploring to do. I do wish they would have sped the movement up a little although you do have a fast travel option to teleport across map. The graphics are pretty at times and make for some great screenshots, I cant really complain about that department. The achievements are simple to aquire although the collectables can take some finding... a guide will help you alot with this. The multiplayer is ok, survival being one of my favorite game modes although as far as I could tell theres no ingame voice or chat whatsoever making gaming with randoms very hard to enjoy. If youre looking to 100% itll take you 25-30 hrs for the sp and 15-17 for mp. Lots of boosting-grinding needed in mp for the 100% sphere achievement. With all said and done the game was pretty enjoyable.......... buy in a sale and youre onto a winner 7/10

At first I didnt like this game, the races came thick n fast and didnt really give me time to enjoy it. I think if id of played the game on hard instead of normal then that wouldnt of been a problem. The graphics are awesome, better than the more recent driving game ive bought The Crew. I remember playing the original Grid and loving it and after finishing this I have to say once again im impressed. The driving style is a little arcadey but thats not such a bad thing for the mainstream... rather a good thing. Theres plenty of cars, which are all grouped up into tiers. The amount of tracks is acceptable although at times it seems you do race the same track once to often in a different race type or direction. Overall this is a great racing game, and I thoroughly reccommend it. If you can pick it up cheap, n play it on hard youre get hours of enjoyment. 8/10

God Mode....... what can I say about this game, well............ its enjoyable, has pretty good graphics along with a gd selection of guns, creatures and upgrades. Similar to serious sam, the idea is to blast monsters.... demons to level up to the eventual God Mode. The network code is good, although finding players isnt so easy as its a pretty old game. Bad news for the completist`s though, theres a broken achievement..... to kill 25 team mates. This will never be fixed either due to the Developer not caring, moving on to other projects or being no more. Overall its not a bad game, ill reccommend it but dont buy it at the full price of 6.99, its worth 3.99 at most.
