Consider this a maybe rather than a recommend. Enjoyable enough for what it is, but a departure from the (arguably superior) open world nature of its predecessor and long outstays its welcome as a result. I lost count of the times I was told we were "running out of time" or that this was our "last chance", each time hoping that it would be true. Spent the last few areas of the game avoiding enemies to get to the next checkpoint just to see it done. A shame really, as the improvements on activating suit powers over the original show someone clearly cared.
A solid thumbs sideways. If you want pew pew kaboom it'll do the job. If you want something more, maybe give it a pass.

Not without its faults (I'm talking about YOU wibbly spirit-thing that you must follow even if you know where it's going) but still one of the most satisfying games to complete I've ever played.

Like Fallout 76, only well received.

Arguably not as "pure" as the original, but the world and character building more than make up for this. A game that made me care about some talking spheres and a guy you never meet. The best example of Valve story-telling.

One of the most enjoyable gaming experiences I've ever had in the 3 decades I've spent on this planet. A puzzle game that uses a simple premise in a number of very clever ways whilst having more character than many RPGs. Short enough to complete in a single moderately-sized sitting and yet worth every penny.
