Hmm, I suppose I should put a profile in here.

Let's see, where to start. I've been born and raised in Michigan. I've also pretty much lived in mostly rural areas, so I've played games almost my entire life. But the games I grew up with were literally stone-aged compared to what we have now. Atari 2600, Color Computer 2... those were my first gaming console and computer. I should also mention I was born in the mid 70's.

Yep, I'm over 30 years old. I'm starting to feel old, playing with or against opponents that weren't even born when I was playing my first games. But I've also learned over the years to judge people not by their age, but how they act. I've gamed with people older than me that had the maturity level of a five-year-old. I've gamed with people that were intelligent, polite, and even wise, to find out they're less than half my age.

I don't game all the time. I have a job (self-employed computer repair), which takes a lot of my time. My interests also change frequently when it comes to games, so I'm constantly drifting from one game to another, then back to older games. Come to think of it, I'm finding myself replaying games more often than buying new games - the number of interesting games coming out seem to be growing fewer and fewer.

Oh, but what are my favorite games? Well, the main Fallout games (1,2, and 3). Oblivion, Morrowind, Baldur's Gate, Arcanum, Command & Conquer, the Unreal Tournament series, Mass Effect, Knight of the Old Republic (liked the 1st one better than the 2nd). Left 4 Dead is a lot of fun, Crysis (even though it's such a demanding game to play), Surpreme Commander from time to time. There's other older games I'm missing too, but I hear people starting to snore already listing to me ramble on.

My updated picture is from EVE Online, with the the new character creator they released relecently. This picture is much more accurate to my actual self, within limits of the technology.

I'm doing a bit of cleaning-up of my friend's list, removing those I've not heard from in a long time. If you want back on, or I removed you by accident, just leave me a note.
