So, I played this entire game with a friend. Just the two of us. What a fantastic experience. The story is great. The writing is superb. The graphics are awesome. The skills/classes are awesome. Probably the best RPG I have played in 15+ years. Maybe one of the best ever. Seriously. I mean it has a few bugs here and there. The whole attacks of opportunity thing is just weird sometimes, but so so so easy to dismiss when everything else is so damn good. So many ways to play it. I mean seriously, I was planning my second play through by our third day of playing. I have NEVER done that. Ever. Get this game if you want a deep engrossing RPG!

Great EA game. It is in Alpha phase but it is already light years ahead of other games out there that claim to be in "Beta." They still have a long way to go but the Dev team is killing it with the updates and stuff right now.

Holy cripes how the times have changed. Absolutely love this game now that it is "mostly" fixed. Saves work fine. Game has made LEAPS and BOUNDS with fixes, and even great updates to the game. Just read my old review to see how these developers have turned this game around and made me a believer.

Ok, I can now say with 127 hours into this game that it is pretty terrible. Out of that 127 hours I have saves that are playable that now amount to ZERO. Every single save has gotten corrupted in some way shape form or fashion. The first one started at 4 hours in. Ok, I was learning no big deal. I deleted it and started a new one. At 7 hours in the new save was corrupted. Deleted it and started again. At 20 hours in that one got corrupted. I almost quit, but I was learning the game and had made some serious headway! So, a new save. This one got corrupted at 27 hours in. However, Hello Games was working on a fix, so I figured I would save that one and just start a new one. Now at 40 hours in that newest game basically "started over" by having me do all of the little missions again from the beginning and now I am locked in a quest that I cannot complete. I cannot warp now (one of the most important things in the game) and EVERY single quest I have ever done got uncompleted and put back into my quest log. I cannot advance past the one quest. So basically I am stuck in my starting system with NOTHING to do but mine and build a base. The game is still HUGELY bugged, You can't complete many quests without stupid work arounds. The discord for the reddit is constantly filled with people with broken games asking for fixes.

As a side note I did not install any mods at all. I never used the save editor until like the fourth broken game and I only used it to fix the broken save number 5. Now, I have spent the last three hours trying to fix the game to be playable again. I absolutely cannot reccomend this game to anyone.

This game is pretty lame. The story mode looks like it was made by a couple of lazy highschool kids for a grade and they got a C-. The only thing "new" to me in this thing is the two lanes (semi interesting) and the drawing cards as you lose health combined with the prophecy thing. Two ideas that are not bad. But can't really make up for an otherwise copy cat/boring game. If you cut your TCG teeth on Magic:The Gathering or earlier games, this will probably bore you to tears like every other TCG with no real strategy or reactions.

I can understand the problems of timing and stuff but the game is so boring without Instant's and Interrupts. There is no real deep strategy to be had.

They abandoned the ArmA 2 mod of this. They have abandoned this. I suspect we will be playing Half Life 3 and Star Citizen long before this ever comes out.

Very very fun game. I highly reccomend it to anyone who is into FPS, Zombies and horror/intense action. Now, with that said, the game does have its flaws.

One of the flaws me is the game flow. It is pretty much lazily roam around shoot a random zombie or two. Then find two ammo boxes, and the need for [insert item here]. When that happens, tuck your balls nice and tight and be ready for a flow of zombies to come swarming at you from all angles. Be ready to run [point and click teleport] turn and shoot and pretty much piss yourself as the wave crushes you the first few times. Once you die a couple of times and learn where they can come from and where to move to be safest you will calm down and feel a sense of accomplishment.

One of the other flaws (and a major one for me) is the limited amount of interactivity. Sure, you can search some drawers, a fridge, some cars, but for the most part that is it. There is nothing else to really interact with. No picking up a fuel can, or gas lantern and tossing into a horde of zombies and shooting it for a big explosion. There are med packs all over the place with no purpose. COOL! I just found a roll of duct tape. Can't do crap with it, can't even wipe with it. I am hoping that at some point these things are patched in to "do" stuff. I really hope so.

I really find this game a lot of fun to play. When/if it gets patched to include more interactivity, it will be a truly spectacular game to play.

This is pretty rubbish. I have downloaded and installed twice. When I click it to run, nothing happens. It acts like it starts up, but nothing happens. If I click it agian, it says Failed to Load: App already running. That is nice, but nothing is running. Restarted steam twice. Updated Steam. Restarted Steam again. Still nothing. I guess we go with the Oculus after all.
