I enjoyed the challenge of this game immensely; a real fight for survival. Set in an awesome steampunk universe, you play as 'The Captain', who's put in charge of guiding your group of survivors through increasingly colder temperatures. You will be faced with many moral choices which can affect the hope / discontent of the residents. Choices such as forced child labour, or whether to pursue a militant doctrine, over a religious one.

I've finally managed to make it through the storm in the starting scenario, after no less than 20 tries. The anguish of making one mistake and watching everyone die is equal to the glory of watching your settlement somehow survive.

If you're into extreme survival games, coupled with real-time city management set in a frozen Victorian apocalypse; then this is for you.
