As someone who grew up with Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, and other AD&D titles, Pillars of Eternity is the breath of fresh air in a rather barren genre. It takes the components that the previously listed titles set in place, and builds upon it with the advancements in technology. The forests are filled with wildlife, the cities are breathing entities that feel filled to the gills with residents, and the choices you make can determine the outcome for your party.

Baldur's Gate is the epitome of classic RPG. Set in the same universe of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, it sets you in the Forgotten Realms to avenge the death of your adopted father as a tyrant is hot on your tracks. Filled with exploration, characters, and dice rolls, this RPG is destined to absorb hours out of your life. While it feels a bit aged, the classic isometric view and turn based combat is both easy to learn and complex to master.

I highly recommend this title to anyone who loves a great fantasy adventure.

Sure, while it might lack the initial thrust of intrigue as Human Revolution, Mankind Divided is still a great Deus Ex title. Branching story paths, engaging dialogue, and the right amount of conspiracy theories to place you in the middle of a bleak, cyber punk future worth exploring.

The combat had been tuned more, and makes a non-lethal playthrough intense and satisfying at the same time. The inclusion of new "prototype" augs add a new spin to gameplay, which can also enhance your choice in certain play styles.

It isn't a perfect game, but not many titles are anymore. If you enjoyed Human Revolution, and love a dark noir game, then this one is for you.

An awesome game for fans of Hunter: The Reckoning or other 4-player arcade shooters.
