It's a nice game although not without its kinks. Then again, the developers are very community-minded and responsive. They have released several patches not only for bugfixing but also to add QoL features in the few days since launch. In terms of art design and core mechanics, it delivers what it promises. Recommended if the scenario speaks to you and you're looking for a relaxed survival-in-nature kind of game with occasionall combat elements and some story to keep things moving along.

So I thought I'd give this one a whirl, seeing as though it's free for the weekend & I loved COH1 and all the DLCs for it.

Game boots up fine, let's check gfx settings...hrm...really? That low?
Performance test: alright, although it doesn't look much better than COH1 it's definitely slower.

Anyway, keep default settings & onto the campaign. Nice story in intro video, yada yada, Stalingrad.

Tutorial-type 1st mission, first objectives OK, capture AT gun. Capture AT gun, I said. Capture the...now WTF?
It's a showstopping BUG.

My guys can't get over or around the teeny tiny sandbag wall in front of the gun and that's that for completing the mission. Throwing grenades at it doesn't help, just kills friendlies. There's no alternate route to the damn thing, either!

SCREW YOU. Uninstalling.
