Possibly the MOST Lovecraftian game I have ever played...You wake up in a strange mansion not remembering where you are, how you got there or, indeed, WHO you are...until you find a note written (alledgedly) by your (former) self sending you on a crazy quest. This is a game that features absolutely NO weopons...your only allies being light and dark; yet both are double-edged swords.
In the light you can operate freely, yet you are easily seen by the creatures from beyond...
In darkness the beasts are less able to detect you, but your mind will start to feed upon your own subconscious, to a point where YOU yourself could be your worst enemy.
It's a balancing act of sorts...with puzzles and quests thrown in...
