I bought this game this weekend because of the sale. I've put about 8 hours in so far, mostly as killer. The amount of abuse in chat I have received is nuts. It has put me completely off of the game. Just a few minutes ago I snatched a four man kill from the jaws of defeat, just to have the last player DC from the match, and then proceed to harass me in chat. Apparently you can do that. You can quit the game, rob the killer of his win, then still be in chat to harass him.

Also, the lack of competent matchmaker is a big deal too. I'm a new player, being matched up with high ranking players with all of the (OP) unlocks. These are the same players that DC as soon as you knock them down. I've heard that if they DC then they don't risk losing their items, so the game design encourages players to do this.

All in all, this game could be fun, if you replaced all of the players with decent people. Until then I regret my purchase and recommend you stay away as well.
