I just got an ad to buy the USS Arizona. This is in extremely poor taste. It's sort made me rethink this whole game with the real names etc. Many thousands of real life people died on these vessels.

Great game, but you'll feel cold the entire time!

Great game. Even works with public play, but the best is to get some friends together and lie your butt off.

Don't believe the "Beyond" hype. This game is a hot mess. Buggy as hell, base building that makes Ark look fantanstic, and a storage system that makes you want to uninstall. Which is what I'm doing.

Very Buggy and is annoying beyond belief. You can never get anyone to crew a vehicle because you have to play a useless class to crew them and they are made of paper. The minimap covers half the damn screen making it impossible to drive and look at a map. GPS is a thing guys. I use google maps and drive all the time, give me a damn minimap.

Don't bother with this game unless you want to learn what a ditch diggers everyday life is like. The frustrating part is the game has so much potential! You actually do everything you're supposed to do in the game? Need to hook up a trailer - back the truck up carefully to get the ball under the hitch and then park the truck and get out to actually hitch it up. Need to pan for gold - add the dirt and lower it into a bucket of water to the right level and physically swirl it back and forth. This could be and incredible VR game if they decided to go that way. Here's where we hit the problem though. Once you're past panning for gold on the side of a stream, you're going to need to load a wash plant from an excavator. Back and forth scooping dirt into a bucket. Thousands of repetitions doing NOTHING but that. to get to the next tier. I did it for a while because I saw there were workers in the game, but they I found out they don't actually work for you, they just make a single piece of machinery more efficient. If they made workers actually do the jobs you dont want to do I'd play this game avidly. As it is, I don't want to play it anymore.

If you like actually playing games stay away from this one. You'll hardly do any playing. You miss turn after turn because of stun locks, charm locks, taunt locks, etc. Its perfectly possible to go through 20 minutes of game play where you just watch.

I love the new tech trees but the multiplayer still isnt ready for primetime. Lots of stuttering and lag on a box that can run a 7 days server during horde night with 8 players.

I'd wait a few months to pick this up. There is no dedicated server right now so you woulnt be able to reliably play on the same world as your friends until Feb-March. Many game feature (as would be expected for an early access game) are not functional, like reseting your spawn points. Also they-ve made a big deal aboutthe editor,but so far there deosnt seem to be a way to paly the maps you create. The game shows promise, but its too soon to tell if any of it will be realized yet.

Edit - Oh Joy - lootboxes are comming.....

I like this game alot. Its got some serious holes though. There is no where near enough tech stuff to build. There should be a whole ramp up if tech to be able to make the full crafting station, tons more furniture, more layers to the generators, etc. Once you have played the game once you could run though the whole story in a couple hours, and most of that because you have to wait for the Sunbeam to arrive. Also, there is something wrong with the intelligence of the game designers that they dont have an autosave option on exit. If you are new at some point youre going to lose hours of work because you forgot to manually save before going to get lunch. I'm not sure I can remember any game going all the way back to the 80's that didnt at least ask you if you wanted to save on exit.
