Fantastic! Only downsides are a couple visual bugs, and no option for a proper 3D perspective like you can have while using source-ports like GZdoom. Please add in this feature as a graphics setting.

Some interesting new mechanics, pretty fun, but too many steps away from the combat loop which Doom 2016 laid the groundwork for and Doom Eternal perfected. Game simply does not feel like a game in a doom universe, potentially would have given this a thumbs up if it were a different IP, and cheaper. But because its supposed to be doom, and in my opinion did not look, feel, or play like doom, also had way too much story for a doom game. I'm giving it a thumbs down. Also music this time around just sounds like generic metal which gets the job done for sure, but Mick Gordon's soundtracks were legendary and he is sorely missed.

MiSide offers a masterfully woven complex narrative with great characters, humour, lore and psychological horror. A must play for fans of DDLC.

Just barely a thumbs up. Everything that's part of the main quest is good. All the side quests and side content are lame and not fun and they destroy the pacing of the main campaign. Conversions are low budget for anything that's not part of the main quest. Game ends up outstaying its welcome, dialog gets annoying after hearing everyone talk like they're doing a Game of Thrones cosplay for 50+hours. Combat is good but too easy most of the time. Music & Story are not up to par with the series past.

Hugely overrated - but good if all you're after is another more modern and better Never-winter Nights like game. Personally I couldn't get into that game either. Not for me. Hardcore RPG enthusiasts only.

more of an update than a sequel

Patch released on 09-10-22 has messed up my game, main menu is unresponsive. Until fixed I cannot play, let alone recommend this game

For those seeking a retro doom, or quake like experience. This delivers tenfold.
