This will take you back in time if you have ever played the originals. Wonderfully done.
The game is still simple yet challenging. If you ever enjoyed streets of rage one two or three you will love this.

Beat Act 10 before you past judgement on this game. Once you do, prepare yourself for one hell of a ride. This game has more hours attached to it than all of my other steam games combined, It's just that good.
It gets fresh content every 3 monthes, so you wont be bored of it for very long once you've gotten through all of the bosses and maps. I was a solid 1000 hours into it just before I felt like I was "ok" at it.

Didn't even notice how many hours I've spent on this game!? I did however play every class to level 20 before settling on the Mystic(level 58 at the time of writing), So I deleted lots of characters.

Pros:
-Not PAY to WIN! I haven't spent a dime on it, but after looking at the hours I've put in, I'll most likly buy a level sixty ticket and an extra character slot just too feel like I've paid for it in some respect.
-Lots of classes too choose from. 2 tanks, 2 healers, and a whole mess of DPS
-Nice graphics! The best I've came across in a FTPMMORPG
-Easy to get into combat, but has lots of stuff to master as you reach into the end game.
-Broker is very easy to navigate, and if you have the time can yield lots of gold that you can use to buy some really nice stuff, without having to grind instances for.

Meh Stuff:
-On my server there are over 15,000 guilds, Anyone and his brother can make a guild.
-Global chat can be a bit cru.....just turn global chat off, and save yourself a headache.
-There seems to be a beach volley ball thing going on this summer...be prepared to see teen and adult characters both male and female, barley dressed, and going into a dungeon of darkness with extra dark shades on.

Cons:
-Graphics: This is NOT gonna run on your Mother's laptop! If it does then it's a good thing you're already in the basment, cuz that hardware..... It's gonna get hot.
-Lag: The combat system needs a good solid conection to be worth anything. A one second delay after you press a dodge, block, jump, heal, or timed attack will have you screaming at your screen. If you find your server lagging, play something else for an hour.
-Did I mention beach volley ball?
-Quests are just as lame as every other MMO I've ever played, don't expect much there.
-Huge Game: takes forever to download on slower conections.

Tips:
-Use the free Elite pass that comes when you make a new account: You get double XPs, a fast mount, and two loot boxes(one of which will give you something you can sell at the broker for a good chunck of gold).
-If you like playing instances without A LOT of wait time in Que, play a healer or a tank.
-Turn "OFF" Global Chat!
-The Gunner is the ultimate solo machine if you don't feel like being in a group.
-If you are having problems logging in, sometimes you have to bypass steam and load the game's .exe(don't forget your password after you make the account). I also had to completly remove AVG off of my rig as it had conflicts with Tera.

If you have the free time, and are looking for a good solid MMO to play, then you have found it.
