Bottom line: Lan cable or don't even bother trying.

I have a pretty good 802.11 a/c setup, this includes a 5 ghz bridge to a switch for the TV. The router is on the same floor as the PC that is doing the streaming and the TV. Nothing really in the way to interfere with the signal.

I tried and tried and tried to get this thing to work by plugging it directly into the switch and streaming wirelessly to the switch.

I have nothing good to say about that approach.

I threw in the towel. Bought a long CAT6 LAN cable and laid it directly from the PC to the Link.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, night and day here. That LAN cable made all the difference in the world. Really works well with the LAN cable.
