I was under the impression that this was more finished than it was, main path wise, which is my own fault.
Already, though, this game hits the spot real good. Top tier immersive sim. Whatever areas do exist already exhibit fantastic level design. The bones are there. My only complaint right now is that I can't coma myself to 1.0

I remember having more fun with this a few years back. It's alright, I guess.

This game's actually pretty good. Beatable in 5 full successful runs("Chapters"), about 12 hours.
If you pick up a weapon once, you can buy it to have back at the hub to start with.
Weapons are generally good even without mid-run upgrades and feel good to shoot.
Each time you beat a run, you can spend a good chunk of earned change to unlock another starting slot so you can take more bought weapons out to start. The city parts in between each set area are there to hit quickly for resources when needed, but by the last few runs I know exactly what and when to hit certain things and was just speeding through those parts. The set piece levels are like fun little speedruns through Duke Nukem 3d style levels, with secrets and multiple paths. It works really well, because, again, by the last few loops I was speeding through these parts with almost speed-run like familiarity. Paired with the fact that the game is relatively short and satisfying in the genre of rougelite shooters that sometimes tend to drag on, finishing this game felt like finishing a delicious meal that was the perfect amount of food I needed without feeling overly full. Disregard the faux-horny theme, its just the excuse for the virtual setting and hub world and enemies.
