Amazing game.
Very Gothic like.

Character progress feels great and you get new armors, weapons skills and rewarded by being able to access new areas you couldn't have before.

Graphics are meh, but you see that before you buy it, you get used to it quickly.

I loved it and i also consumed this game within 1 week - the whole 35hours.

Story is immersive, except for the ending.

This game is a Masterpiece. This game is Gothic 2 - but even better! I have 78 hours and i did NOT check every corner, And i did NOT feel bored or anything. I consumed this game and i loved every Minute! I donated a bit of money to the developer team because they freaking DESERVE IT!

If you have ANY love for Gothic, you will have the best gaming experience of you life!

The game had a decent start, was a fun time to do the quests, craft a bit, and some pvp here and there.
After a while, the bugs and exploits took over the game.

AGS tried to patch some stuff out, more or less successfully.
Each patch introduced a number of good stuff and a WHOLE BUNCH of new bugs, exploits, or stealth nerfs.

The newest patch was a nice read, i was even hyped a bit, until i played for 15 minutes in an elite area with some other random dudes i've met there.
Well they inlcuded so many ninja nerfs which they didnt put on the PTR before that the game is literally unplayable now - as a solo player that is. You cant increase your watermark because you cant really efficiently kill elite mobs anymore.
And if you manage to kill the, yeah, htey also nerfed the chest loot in those areas.

The game sucks now, the little you had to do in the endgame was nerfed to the ground, no point in playing.

maybe they will revert their changes after a while, but honestly my time is too precious for me to start the game, be disappointed and close it again each day.

Is this game a mess? - Yeah
Does this game have bad combat? - hell yeah
Did I still enjoy it (twice)? - be sure i did!

Pros:
- Gothic Feeling
- Overpowered in the end
- Nice world to explore
- JETPACK

Cons:
- Would have wished for one more "bunch" of monsters roaming the world at the end. You are stuck killing stone claws, skexes and mountain trolls all over
- sounds like a small CON but for me the BIGGEST DEAL: let us buy MORE THAN 80 ARROWS AT A TIME
you have to put them into your cart, accept the trade, leave the conversation, enter it again and rinse repeat for like 300 times in this game all together.
- Combat a bit clumsy

Pretty fun game, would recommend 8/10

- some minor bugs which are annoying
- police/wanted system is ass

SPEAKING FOR PC PLAYERS HERE
Short one on this. PRO:

- Great game mechanics
- Amazing work on the different spells
- Decent Storyline
- Endgame filled with content
- Many different "bosses" which is always nice to have in an RPG
- "Post game" makes this much more fun

CON:

- Game like to crash when you leave/enter an area, but guess when the game will autosafe?! YEAH exactly, right when you enter/Leave an area. So hey, you got some content you want to safe bro? let me crash right before we autosafe haHAA

- No windowed mode without ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around with additional plugnis, addons or some ♥♥♥♥

- my most favorite annoyance: The setting for your volume will only be used like 10 seconds after starting the game. So if you have your windows sound settings very loud as i do, you'll get blasted off your seat by a singing woman for around 10 seconds before the game finally loads into the main menu and recognizes "oh this dude put his volume on 5%, let's not give him 100% then!"

- classes balancing issues: a mage is fun as ♥♥♥♥, but against several enemies, you are just screwed in constrast to other classes.

- End-end-endgame balancing issues: Well deep into bitterblack isle, youll soon see how doing 0 (and i mean 0) damage feels. This is because the developers decided it would be reasonal to just uppen the defense of enemies the deeper you go in the endgame dungeon. If you dont do more damage than they have defense, you'll do nearly 0.

So you HAVE to buff youself up with consumables in order to progress - Thats why i stopped playing, i hate taking consumables in RPGs excpept for maybe healing potions.

- if you dont progress enough in your quest line, it can be that your "loved" one in the end is a 14 yr old annoying kid. So watch out boys.



All in all, GREAT game, played the story twitch within a short time. Also i recommend searching for guiudes PRIOR to playing this on PC. The controls are a bit hidden sometimes for extremely important stuff like casting a boon on yourself.

Hi This is my first extremely review and it's very serious.

I nearly played 8.5k hours of dota and im still 4k mmr. This game clearly sucks and it's 100% not my fault.

- My team is always full of cykas and you can't do ♥♥♥♥ about it.
- I Still haven't received my mini roshan figurine from The International 2017 for beeing level 2000.
- My life savings are locked in the never ending "not trabable until xx.xx.xxxx" loop
- I don't have new friends coming to this game as i don't want to explain ♥♥♥♥ for the 10000th time to a noob.
- I always get thrown into low priority for beeing toxic to my cyka teammates
- I need a million tries when buying lootboxes for a specific extremely rare item
- My queue times will soon be beaten by the current world record marathon runner (2:02:57)
- Techies
