Terrific coop game. The interface is something you have to get used to, can be overwhelming at the start.
But after a while - after just poking around - you will understand how it all works and discover it's all pretty clever.

The coop-part works like a charm. Easy drop-in-out coop, you can easily join games in progress - be it a public game or with your friends. I'm having a blast, even solo is wonderful.

I can really recommend this game, if you like:

- shooting
- digging
- collecting things
- customizing things
- having an easy game to pick up, have fun and unlock something every time and progress no matter what

Played way more than the time shows: played it for a while on Xbox GamePass - but dropped that. Missed this gem, so bought it on Steam.

Love this game. Combat is simple, but entertaining and yet not that simple that you will not die.
There is some grinding, but since the gameplay loop is so much fun, you never feel bored.
You keep unlocking and progressing, so even the first levels have lots of variation again and again.

Great atmosphere.
Great teamplay.
Bit sneaky, but also lots of flanking and "slow" gun-fights. No run-and-gun, but tactical positioning and shooting with old-Western guns. Awesome.
And the horror/monsters aren't as scary as it might seem. Eventually they are mostly annoying and distracting.

Primary focus is 2v2/3v3 gun-fights.

This. Game. Rocks!

Do you sometimes notice you bob your head on the music? Do you like shooters? Do you enjoy random levels and the rogue-like genre? 1-2-3 yes? Ok, this game is for you.

It is tough, but it's doable. And after a while you'll get the hang of it, unlock more stuff and it gets better and better.

And the music? It will just stick in your head and you will be humming it hours later.

This is your game is you like:

- different runs every time
- random bonus items that stack and make for insane combinations
- forgetting about your bedtime
- "one more run and then you are 2 hours further"
- but also runs that end within 10 minutes, because you got arrogant / greedy

Best. Game. Ever.

And if you loved Risk of Rain 1 - you'll like this one even more!

I played this for a while. Then I had to quit, but the next couple of minutes on everything I did, I stopped every time to think if I wanted to do that movement. It was a very weird sensation ^^

This game is just AWE - SOME!

This game is amazing. If you like one of the options below, you should check this game out:

- shooting
- pixelart violence
- style
- roguelike

I just can't stop playing. And playing. And playing.

I kept replaying the demo (on Switch) over-and-over-and-over... but eventually I bought the game (on PC). And it's just awesome!
The music is my style, the graphics are my style, the gameplay is simple to grasp, but sometimes very difficult.

I'd say... check out this game if you like on (or multiple of the following):
- great electronic music
- great beats
- stylish / abstract graphics
- not much of a story
- awesome music with a beat you just have to move to
- dashing around the screen
- challenging gameplay (but there are options to lower the challenge a bit)

Start game, pick a class, randomly decide what route to take from the map, kill some enemies, think I will be able to win this easily, get overwhelmed and restart again.
Repeat this for a couple of hours.

Such a great game. Looking to get this for my Switch as well - one of the best games I played in years

I usually never write reviews... but this game... OMFG!
The fact that's in Early Access doesn't say ♥♥♥♥! It's so awesome.

The flow

The effects
The addictiveness
The weapons
The depth
The ease of playing but at the same time the mastery you'll get after a while
The one-more-try-feeling

It's all f#cking awesome!

If you like: platformers + a little bit of randomness + challenging, but fair combat (think Dark Souls) + super nice animations and lighting effects in a pixelart style + slowly leveling and unlocking stuff.... you have to buy this game!

What else would you do with $15? Buying some crap game you'll never play? Buy some candy / beer / chips? Pay your rent? There is NO excuse! You need to play this game! Now! Go! Do it! Join the fun!

Damn... why am I even writing this review? I want to continue playing...
