I really wish I could give this a meh. D&L is a re-skin of early ARK but with Magic & Swords. It has a lot same jank as early ARK but was a good time for $5. My buddy and I started our own private server with a service, added mods to make it less grindy, and had a good time exploring the map , going too far, and getting killed. Its clear the dev team cared but that the insta proifit wasn't there so Snail Games did what they do and abandoned the game.

IF you pick this up, play with a friend to make your own fun, get it on sale for $5, and only start with Shard of Faith because the base game is really empty.

If you like classic RTS, I feel this holds up today for a decent throwback.
