A much more social experience than I expected; there's no PvP, resources are all co-op, and the automatic chat translation works surprisingly well. I was hoping to play solo but found there's no downside to having other people around, and quite a few benefits.

  • Fun little game.
  • Under active constant development.
  • Friendly community.

Add this game to your library and check in on it once in a while.

As far as I can tell this is basically NWN1 back in active development. What you are buying here is NWN1 in its current state PLUS access to any new fixes, features, and content Beamdog has or will add. You are not buying NWN3.

If you loved NWN1 like I did, this is great!

TL;DR It's basically Magic: The Gathering Redesigned. They did _not_ do a bad job. Power creep on expansions means the meta is both king and impassable. Meta or go home, and meta is expensive.

I highly recommend this game for casual play through "silver" rank. It's really a mixed bag after that.

Pros:

Slick design
Loot crate system is well thought out and fair
Decent community
Not P2W
Interesting tutorial system

Cons:

Like M:TG, mana flood/screw kills 1/4 of your games before you've played a card
Tight meta means you will see the same 3 or 4 decks repeatedly
Not much room for creative play

This game is available for free on the developer's website. The Steam version allows you to unlock a few more classes (and helps support the dev).

This is one of the best true roguelikes. It's hard, it's complicated, and you will die. It's also a lot of fun. Character builds are complex, the fights are challenging and intense, and there's a sense of progression by unlocking classes and game modes.

The downsides (or, why I mentioned the free version at the top) are a dated engine, horrible UI, and repetitive gameplay. Still, the game is worth the price and worth the time. Try the free version and I'm sure you'll pick it up here.

One of the most interesting MMO's at release, with incredibly deep character customization.

Unfortunately the game looks incredibly dated now, and with its focus on party-based gameplay, the declining playerbase means a rough time for someone just starting.

Hands-down the worst, rudest customer support I've ever encountered. Horrible people.

Play the game but never, ever spend money. You will regret it.

Note: I don't recommend spending money on the game. The early battles are probably worth the download. Uninstall after all of your vehicles have been one-shot five games in a row.

If you need a realistic battle sim featuring planes or tanks, this is the game for you. If you're looking for a fun game where you fly or drive, this is not it.

- Steep learning curve

- High level players in low ranked games

- Unintuitive interface

Tip: The developers are Russian. When in doubt choose the Russian plane or tank. That should tell you enough about the game.

Works ok on a PC, extremely buggy launcher on a Mac. Mining and trading are alright but ship controls turn combat into a chore. Wanted to like this game a lot more than I actually do.

It's not engrossing enough to warrant developing the skills needed to get past the incredibly steep difficulty/progression curve.

Which is a shame, because it's a really fun game.

Not quite as fun or as open as Fallout 3, but well worth owning. DLC is pretty well done too.
