Extremely fast paced game with good weapon balance and good map design. I find it enjoyable for many reasons. Picking up enemy grenades and throwing them back (or trying to) never gets old, the ragdoll physics is hilariously funny and the radio system is both useful and super fun to use. The respawn mechanics is just perfect. You don't have to wait till the end of a round if you are dead (like in counter strike), so the action is more fluid yet you still have waves (unlike battlefield). I think it was the 5v5 where it really shone (nostalgic and biased:p), but due to the weapon variety it is destined to be good in gungame or TDM too. Orange and lime maps were an awesome invention, though some people would say otherwise. To me it is a great addition, because it takes the crisp game mechanics and ditches the "realism" part of the graphics so all the emphasis will fall on the game mechanics and map design. Basically more focuse on gunplay compared to a normal map. Weapon/grenade restrictions should be applied for many of these maps though.
The downsides: weapon and grenade pickup is the same button to this day... Plus some handy options could be lifted out of console/.cfg into the actual options menu, like HUD customization.

10/10, I would recommend to anybody who likes (fast paced) multiplayer shooters.
