Might not boast the hardcore survival style of Banished or the historical realism and combat of Manor Lords, but it's definitely an excellent example of a fairly chill medieval settlement building simulator that allows you significant building placement flexibility via a grid-less model (where you can "paint" areas freehand) while also having several buildings with modular components that you can configure as desired.

Definitely recommend trying the demo, as if you are a fan of the genre there's a good chance you'll find something here to capture your interest.

You harvest and cook all those delicious fruits but never end up making any pie... UNPLAYABLE I TELL YOU!

Seriously though, pretty damn fun hybrid idle game that's easy to play but quite rewarding if you want to use more pro strats and tactics to improve your progression.

Glad these types of games are getting more attention. Has just enough depth and art style charm to make the base and factory building as well as the crafting mechanics very enjoyable. The automation just makes everything that much better!

The casual nature of the overall gameplay is great for when you just want to chill while exploring and progressing without having to regularly brace yourself for an impending threat to your creations.

Looks like a prettier non-pixel art version of Halls of Torment and plays like an arena style version of Vampire Survivors.

If you've played survivors-likes and ARPGs, you'll get the gist of how this game works. It's not an open map like Vampire Survivors or Halls of Torment, as the player is limited to a circular arena that enemies spawn inside or outside while moving toward the player. The player then clears a series of waves including melee and/or ranged enemies as well as champion and boss tier enemies.

What I Liked

Pacing of the combat.

Animations and graphical presentation.

Shorter time limit on areas.

Upgrades and items feel quite powerful.

What I'm Not Sure About

The experience orbs are a bit on the small side, so it's easy to not even notice they are there depending on how chaotic the screen is at the time.

The pickup radius for the currency is extremely small.

Player has to immediately kill the first enemy to get a weapon.

Usage of the Health Bar x 10 style of displaying player and enemy HP.

Doesn't appear to have "ultimate" weapons/abilities.
