A great team game. Not got bored yet. :)

More like Portal Evolution.
Same old Portal, but different. A few slightly new twists, and interesting levels make this the Portal of old, but refreshed.
Not too hard, but just hard enough to keep you entertained for the whole time you are playing.

12 hrs in, I am hooked. The styling, the look, plot, and game play, brings something original to the standard mission based "shoot, puzzle, collect" style game.
Though actions, like any game, are repetitive, they are built upon, and added to, as you progress the story. There really is never a dull moment, and I strongly suggest to not skip the cuts scenes, as they really give you context, the enhances the enjoyment of the game. The story gives you reason, for the play style, other than just button mashing, without purpose. Here, you have a reason and use for each of the attacks/defence moves.

If you are new to the Spider Man games, then you are in for a treat.
Web Swinging? Check.

As to the game mechanics, not really new to old hands, a slight difference, but lots to learn for new hands, though they do make it easy, and progressive. The only fault I really find is, that enemy sometimes appear out of thin air. They are not rendered in before, or coming into the scene, they just appear. This is a minor bug, and other than that, this is a great PS port. The graphics are 2021, but really look nice and crisp. The game play is great, it's fun, a slight grind at times with combat, but when you string combo moves together, you can really enjoy slamming some baddies of roof tops, up in air, and slamming objects into them.

After clocking in 60+ hrs, doing lots of side missions, I can say for sure, this game is fun, challenging, but really, really fun.
As far as 3rd person shooter/fetch games go, this stands up there as one of the best.
*hint: for a better time, and an interesting end piece, do all the NERO camps, shoot out the gray/red ringed speakers first, before fixing/starting the generators.
