Probably the best fighting game ever so far.

An easy-to-learn fighter that was great at launch but has a lot of unfair matchups now (Happy Chaos and Axl). People just spam those characters and it's not fun until you learn their matchups.

It's unacceptable for a $40 game to have this much slowdown in multiplayer. Also, why don't the NES games have online play?

Post December Patch Edit: Some of the updates have been fantastic but the online is unplayable with more than two players. Will edit review if they ever fix it.

The perfect game for people tired of spending 80 hours exploring in open worlds.

I think it's a step back from Turtles in Time.

One, the gameplay is broken. You can just spam taunt and do unlimited special moves. It almost completely eliminates the whole concept of "attack."

Two, I feel like they didn't do a good job incorporating the source 1980s source material for animations. The animations feel clunky and aren't as similar to the show as Turtles in Time/Original Arcade TMNT. Like Bebop and Rocksteady had WAY more animations in the original game.

Three, the music. Some of the tracks are legit bangers but I think it was a miss to not include more 1980s Turtles TV show music.

Four, the teamwork system. It just feels completely random. I think they could have put more thought into how the characters interacted for team attacks. And incorporated more sound clips. Feels like they did the bare minimum for sound.

And five, the bosses. They didn't feel as imaginative as some of the original bosses. You really had to time your attack and learn patterns for those. Now you just taunt and mash invulnerable specials.

Edit: The update with the custom dip switches changed the game for me. Love it now that it doesn't have to be a super move spamfest. Great job, developers.

It's like someone took the best parts from COD, Battlefield, and Red Orchestra and made a game.

The game plays perfect on day one. Using a 3070 and 5600x and not experiencing any microstutters.

Once you realize you have to run it in pseudo fullscreen mode at 60hz and use Joystick Gremlin to map the buttons, it's the best flight sim you can buy.

This is a great game to play after you're familiar with IL-2 Great Battles.

It's no Hotline Miami but it's as close as you'll get to being Tequila in Hard Boiled.
