This game has a couple of issues, but, they are far and few between. For example my outpost river reed collector will sometimes get stuck. All in all though this is a solid game so far, and I am looking forward to more.

Fantastic game, the Hutt Expansion is unfortunate, but the rest is gold. The 8 class stories are simply old school Bioware goodness. Fantastic stories. I played the game a lot on release, and only just recently came back after a long break. There's a lot of quality of life upgrades to the game that were vastly needed. Like a whole inventory system for crafting mats now.

This is a fun hard core game. I would like to see some more variety in the wrecks, but it's still a lot of fun.

I am reviewing this game with a no for a couple of reasons. I would review it as a "not right now" as opposed to a full no. But that is not an option. Okay so let's dive into it:

What's good:

1. The cities look fantastic to me. I love that you really only control the civic buildings and resource production buildings. I understand other city building fans won't enjoy that though.
2. Bringing a city through different eras is fun.
3. The faction and district system is neat, and interesting to build districts with them.
4. The trade system is pretty easy to use and understand.
5. The map is beautiful and lovely.
6. There's event politics for the greater world around your city.
7. The coat of arms is lovely.

Now for the bad.
1. There's only one map.
2. The game abruptly ends and has no way to continue to work on a city.
3. There are no seasons. For a game that is about a city surviving through time it doesn't make that much sense. Though I get they are going for longer eras type things.
4. Culture doesn't really matter in the current game. You can pretty much ignore that aspect.
5. It feels like a mobile game port.
6. There's a weird map flicker when you move your map around to areas outside of your city proper.
7. There's a few bugs that I encountered such as carts and wagons going under the bridge instead of over it.
8. Politics within the city doesn't really matter much. You can pass edicts, but they aren't needed. You can just eject the problem faction and shrug your shoulders at it.
9. There's not really a research system. You just get blueprints and use those to unlock a new building.
10. There's no real variety between the different starts. You need to have the different cultures in the city anyway so all they really do is give you a little bonus in one direction or another. I chose crafters but like my city didn't become like an artisan city full of the best crafting guilds or anything.
11. The game is about 3 hours long. Just one hour longer than you can refund the game for.

There's a lot more, but let's keep this review simple. In short TL:DR - It's "okay" and could be good for the price tag if you could keep playing and perfecting your city. Since the game just ends though when you get to the end of the first midages section it really hurts the game. One map also kills replayability.

This is now the gold standard of U-boat games. Very fun, very in depth with a wide range of difficulty settings to help any Captain enjoy the game.

This is a lovely game, it is daunting at first, but once you get it, it is enjoyable for sure.

Well I got all the acheesements, played for 111 hours as of writing this. It's okay I guess? (JK it's awesome)

This is a vertical rim world esque successor. The devs consistently up date the game but as you can see you can easily clock in over 100 hours in the game as it stands now. It's fun to challenge yourself to new and interesting building techniques and the different biomes come with their own challenges.

I quite enjoy this game and look forward to playing more.

This game is rough around the edges. It has things like trees that float up and down in the ground (they are moving up and down, it's weird). It has some bugs, but nothing game breaking. It has a janky UI but it functions.

All in all, if you enjoy creature survival games like The Isle, and Path Of Titans but you wanted it set in Africa with modern animals, then you should have fun here.

Birthing in new players is a wonderful system. As you grow you get these points that you get to spend on your stats. If you are birthed in you get 45 bonus points, and that's pretty significant. Though it is hard to survive as a new born if your mother and father aren't great... it's worth it in the end.

I was expecting to refund this game, as I didn't think it was far enough along on videos and such. After playing it for 11 hours straight I would say that It is a good game. It does suffer from the same problem that other games of this genre does. That being that the only real thing to do is PVP.

Even with that being the only real game play loop, it's still fun and worth your time if you enjoy other games in this genre.

This is the space game you're looking for.

Station building
Ship Building (not like space engineers but you can build and customize based on frames)
RPG Quests - pretty decent story lines
Sandbox - you can do what you want when you want
Each DLC is an improvement on the game

After 500 hours into this game I can say that this is a fantastic game.

One "downside" to the game is that it will take a long time to get some things done. For example if you have the materials, some station modules can take 15 minutes to build each.

The game also loses a lot of FPS in the late game as more and more things need to be calculated. You can mitigate this a little bit by reducing the graphics slightly. I turned off volumetric fog and saved 10 fps. The game is very CPU heavy.

Lastly, there's a ton of mods for you to enjoy once you get your fill on vanilla. I suggest though that you play vanilla first (with the DLCs). There's also a fantastic star wars mod.
