UPDATE: After over 4,000 Hours spent playing this game. I still don't recommend it. It takes up far too much time, and the same problems still exist that have always existed except cheating has only gotten worse.

While the concept of the game is great. I can't recommend it to anyone. The amount of hatred, racist, toxic behavior is off the charts. The vast majority of people are so angry and aggressive it's ridiculous.

I play games to have fun, not be frustrated. I'm not the kind of person who can check their morals at the door. I don't find fun in ruining others fun. I enjoy being competitive. I don't enjoy hearing people telling others to kill themselves or saying crazy pedo stuff.

There are modded and community servers and I think that's where I'm going to look to see if there are better servers without so much of these things. But the fact that this is the official server experience is what I'm basing this off.

At about 1.5k hours in play time now, nothings changed. And won't until it's made known that in Rust, and any other online game, there isn't a place for hate and racists.

I have now played an additional 2k hours since my last review. Still do not recommend for anyone who wants avoid hearing a bunch of racist slurs from pre-pubescent edgy kids and man children who need anger management.

The gameplay portion of things is pretty good. It's just the toxicity is off the damn charts.
