The movement & shooting feels great. Pretty solid overall. Having to shoot 2 clips to down someone because of shields is a bit annoying. I appreciate the look, & variety.

CS:GO Review
I had to re-write my review after they've now made the game F2P, and added the BR. 1st off, I started playing since CS 1.0 basically, and have spent probably 10k+ hours if you combine all the match making, deathmatching, jailbreak, map making, etc.. I still think it's the best FPS in terms of feel of movement and hit reg. Some changes over the years of course I've disagreed with, but overall great game. I come back to it all the time.

Since I've made a few maps for the jailbreak mod in the Hammer editor, I thought of the idea to make a Hunger Games style map. Long story short, PUBG and all these BRs come out, so I expected Valve to come out with their own. Maybe a standalone or some game mode like it is now. Sadly, what they've come out with is a cheap version which lacks content for the most part. Let's do some pros & cons for this BR.

Pros: - I still love the feel of the movement and guns (even though crouching has been messed with too much imo).
- It has standard elements of BRs which make them fun like looting etc.
- The buy menu with the cash is nice and I like the sounds.
- The drones the bring you goods is a cool idea but they are obviously loud and give your position away. Not sure if that's good but... That's all I got.

Cons: - There's only 1 map which is pretty small, only 16 people could be a good thing for some because faster games, but I'd rather have more people in a bigger map.
- There's a rare sound bug that ruins my ears where you hear the parachute the entire game.
- It's very annoying not being able to get a primary weapon if you only have bare hands.
- The games end so fast that usually by the time I get an airdrop, there are only a few people left to kill with the good/fun guns. Even though I like the pistols in CS, it's not fun only having a pistol, and maybe a shotgun/smg for most of the game.

There are probably more, but overall it's just not a very good attempt. I feel like with a few months and Hammer editor, I could make a much better map. With a team of people, we'd have at least 3 maps. I just wish it were better. But hey, at least it's free, right?

I really enjoy playing this game. It's like Age of Empires except there are zombies coming for your defences.
I'm excited for new content like maps, units, etc.. For sure worth the buy. The only downsides I see right now are the basic early access expectations. Like; I could see it getting boring after a few hundred hours or so for me without new maps. Also, certain small fixes like unit pathing and mechanics. Overall great game though. *8.5/10 (For now, like all early access)

This game is pretty awesome. Under rated I'd say. A bunch of fun with friends, but even solo, I enjoy it.
it's enjoyable taking out ships and musketing people.

Even though I have alot of hours and I enjoy playing this game... It's very over rated.
I could rant for days about how bad the hit reg, loot ratios, and over gameplay is, but I think it's pointless. The DEVs do somewhat listen to the community, but there are just so many things wrong it hurts my brain to play it. I could make a huge post on their forums about what they should change, but it'll probably be brushed away never to be heard from again. There are just too many things wrong and no one wants to read a short story of problems. Anyway! Fun to play, but as of Jan. 15 2018, I'd say it's over rated poo poo. - 5/10

- 821 hours later.. The game still has the same amazing potential, but guess what... It's still a laggy mess. It's mind boggling how they keep slowly putting out content and things for you to purchase like the BP, but haven't fixed much when it comes to optimization. Getting shot behind objects, and simply needing a beast of a computer just to play with decent frames is a huge problem. There are dozens of little fixes they could make to have a better gaming experience, but they don't bother. Even if you have a god tier computer, the servers might just be screwed that day. You never know with this poorly executed poo.

So I feel like I've got a decent amount of hours now to give a review of DayZ Standalone. I've had the game since it was released to steam and so far I'd give it a 5/10. I would say 4/10, but the fact that I keep going back to see the changes gives it +1. The best things about the game, as most would agree, is the look and feel of the world. I appreciate the time taken to fix graphics, animations, and optimization.. But it would be nice to have an actual game. I'm not saying every game should be like minecraft, but as an example, the graphics are poo, but the playability is amazing. Here's my last 4-5 lives (games) of DayZ I've had. (1/8th of the way to NW airfield) 'I'm feeling hungry'... (1/4th to NWAF) 'I'm extremely hungry'... Man I better find some beans... (1/2 to NWAF) 'I'm dying of starvation'... Damn, are those beans?! *EAT ALL*... 'You are unconcious'... Try #2 (1/4 to NWAF) 'I'm extremely hungry'... Not this time hunger, I found beans early this time! *EAT ALL*... 'I'm very hungry'... "SERVER NOT RESPONDING for 6 SECONDS..." 1 1/2 hours of running and searching everything for about 30% of the hunger meter?.. Then comes ESC key to exit.

So basically, if there were a goal like A.I., or missions, or mods, or helicopters, or actual vehicles, or anything to make you want to keep playing, then I would... but please after so many updates to "optimization" and new guns, I would think replayability would be more of a concern to DEVs. Arma 2 mod - 9/10, Arma 3 - 8/10, DayZ - 5/10... The most frustraiting thing is just knowing that this game could be amzing if they opened it up to more people and modders.

I would give this a thumbs up reccomendation IF there weren't such balance issues. It's definitely fun to play, until you get hooked and the killer just camps by you making it almost impossible for anyone to save you. Of course it can be frustraiting for the killer to have to deal with people vaulting in and out of windows over and over, but most of the time you can still catch them. If you have a good team of survivors working together, you can get alot done, and it's more fun to play. Which is good, but still, if the killer camps the hooks (espesially when he's invisible and makes no heartbeat noise.......) you pretty much have no chance. I just really wish they'd make it somehow not so easy to camp the hooks. I've managed to self rescue off the hook only 2 times out of about 50 tries. 1st self rescue, I automatically landed in the trap right below me, and the 2nd time I just got chopped down by the killer immediately. With a few changes and some more content though, I think this will be even more fun. -6.5/10

I love wasting my time/multi-tasking (<-excuse) on this game. For 4,736 hours, I played Dota 2 with much enjoyment. Not caring about the whiners, feeders, people calling lanes then rage quitting after feeding and whining. Still playing solo support time after time while your team blames you for their death beacuse "We need wards." The countless matches full of people speaking a foreign language, until you find out in the end they could speak English the whole time, but chose not to.

It wasn't until the 4,737th hour that I realized, maybe there are other games that are more fun out there in the world. I'm still going to spend my free time playing games because that's what I enjoy, but Dota PLEASE. Region Lock 2016. I don't mind foreign people as people. It's just the fact that communication is very helpful in this game, and there are too many frustraiting times where you can't talk to your team to coordinate or help people by telling them things. But still, you can 5 man queue and blah blah. I still love you Dota 2, but you're like my ex-girl friend who I want to be with but we just may not be meant for eachother. ;( - 9/10
