I have about 9 hours in and am at the very end as i write this. What a classic RE game. (yes, yes it is a RE game and a classic at that). This game had me focused and interested all the way through. It fed my need to find everything and turn every room blue. Unlock all the upgrades as well. The pacing was excellent and story was top notch. I don't usually play games twice through at all ever. But this one is going to get another play through on a harder difficulty for sure.

I have played every single RE game going back in time. I know there are many hardcore RE fans that don't like these first person installments. But I have to say i hope this is the direction they stick with. The 3rd person play style of RE games of old for me is too clunky and slow paced. 7 and 8 have hit the sweet spot. I would like there to be an option in every RE game to come whether to play in 3rd or 1st but that's probably not going to pass a budget decision for development costs. Not that i would play the game that way but in hopes to satisfy all RE fans and their needs. Options are always good. :)

This game has been a breath of fresh air for me. One of my favorite games of all time is System Shock 2. This game reminds me so much of it in many ways. From the atomosphere, to the music, combat and the ability to be totally immersive. I am hooked!. Im currently 6 hours in and loving every minute it of it. Excited to see whats next.

Loving the game so far. 8 hours in my first session. Defintely not for everyone. This is one people are going to love or hate. No in between.

Runs flawless on my rig at 1440p. Settings maxed. Usually 100-120 FPS. I7-6700K - GTX 1080.
