Now if you like one of the games and don’t like the other, that’s your call. But as it stands I can’t see anything I said not holding up to inspection.
But if there's any question I'd be happy to run through the arguments one by one.
Now I'm not saying "omg giev stuff". Company is in their full rights to do whatever they wish with it; even if the game would have never made it out I'd been ok with it. I knew what I was getting into when I took part in early access. I simply wanted a game of the genre this represented. It still does some things better, such as the whole concept of stripping armour and whatnot than its rival.
But at the same time I won't be misrepresented in my own opinion that, for what my 2 cents are worth, I’d take my visa and run as I stated before. I get it that the genre hasn’t seen much competition and as such they’ve been left to roam as they wish; and to same breath I wish them all the luck in the world because competition makes all games involved better. But I’ll be playing Dreadnought meanwhile. Fact to the matter is for 40 USD package (35 or so euros) I get 5 premium ships, some visual fluff and 25€ in terms of their “play money”.
I feel I should clarify myself or risk being misrepresented.
Did I at any point claim that I was owed something, or that what I bought was unclear? Perhaps I said that "OMG IT WENT FREE TO PLAY WHEN IT SAID IT WONT!"? Didn't think I did. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I simply said past business practices are an indication of future business practices. Would anyone care to refute that either? Perhaps people know more than me; but it's certainly something that has so far held true in gaming space.
I wish the game best of luck, certainly. But I'd still take my visa and run away considering 2something euro package from 2 years back (30.11.2014) translates into 500 platinum. For anyone left wondering, that's 2,5€ worth of their in game cash-bought money.
If you bought it anyways, then you either can't read or are just retarded.
