Closest thing to an X-Wing Alliance reboot we'll get. Campaign mode is compelling and game mechanics are good, but not quite as simulator-esque from XWA or the other X-Wing/TIE-Fighter game series. Good distinction in ship classes, but could possibly use more... (where is my B-Wing at?!). Overall a refreshingly fun game, and a blast to play in VR with an Index.

Cannot recommend the game in its current state. Cheaters in every round make it impossible to find a fair game. No attempt from the developer to fix the issue by either forcing a region or ping lock. There is no communication other than sporadic updates that "BattleEye has banned 1.5 million players." That fact alone is worth condemnation - the fact that this game has so many rampant cheaters, and believe me, BattleEye or whatever terrible anti-cheat isn't picking them all up.
