Heroes & Generals is a great free FPS & RTS at the same time.

First you'ill have to choose a nation (Germany, CCCP and USA ) ( i like to think German is Hard difficulty, CCCP normal and USA easy ; because of the differents weapons you have).

Now that you have choosen your nation, you will have one soldier to start with. Every stuff (cars, planes, tanks, weapons....) is unlockable by some "missions" (if you want to upgrade your weapon with new equipement you'll have to play this weapon in order to unlock the specify equipement.. and so on for everything) (can be easy to challenging)

You will earn money (silver) for every battle you do, look out to reloading your weapons it can be more than your reward if your weapons are a lot upgraded....

That was the easy part of the game, now the General part :
-in H&G you will fight in Europe, so in game, you have a map of Europe where you can send troops you bought with another type of money than silver you'll earn doing war battles. that is the RTS part, and that's where the game become very challenging, you have to send troops on cities you wanna conquer, but those troops are expensive so be carefull when and where you send them...

(some bad parts, not really well optimize but i can easily make it run on my 7 years old computer without any problems ; since H&G is on steam there are fewer cheaters (that's a good point) )

FREE GOOD GAME ; JUST TRY IT ;)
