Absolutely awesome game. I enjoyed the multiplayer on this for months on end as well as the solo campaign. I'm now revisiting it years later and still enjoying it. It was one of the best of the franchise without a doubt.

One of my all time favourite games.

Braid tells a nice sad story. Its a perfect blend of story telling and puzzle platform action.

The game itself reminds me of Super Mario with the monsters a bit like goomba troopers but with afro hair cuts. The puzzles will have you scratching your head while you figure out the different ways to complete them. Its broken up nicely into several different worlds and each world has its feature. See this is the interesting thing about Braid. Its the ability to go back in time. You can rewind and take yourself back in time and do it again if you screwed up. They work it nicely into the puzzles also with you having to rewind time as certain aspects in a level are sometimes not affected by the rewind. Sometimes this is a key to open a door or its a cannon or even a monster.

There is a lot of replayability to Braid. Once you complete the game normally you then have the challenges. Once you've done the challenge you have the ultimate time challenge... complete the whole game in one sitting in a time limit and the time limit leaves very little room for error. Which in itself can be a bit frustrating when you reach the last level and screw something up on the last part of the game.

I couldn't recommend this game more. buy it.... NOW!

I gave this game a shot as it looked fun. Maybe I just can't get into turned based games again or this just fun enough to keep my attention.

The script feels like its written by a 10 year old, the graphics are clunky and boring and the classes are not really well defined. I don't know more what to say. Its a rip off of Heroes of Might and Magic/Kings bounty but it does a terrible job of it.

I feel like my money would have been better spent on something else.

Don't bother buying this one.

Trine brings platforming games to the front page. I feel like I'm going to say a lot of the same as what you'll read in other magazines.

Its beautiful... its thoughtfully designed... though I won't say its challenging. Its easy just like a lot of games of our current day. When you have been gaming since the 1980s and things like ghosts and goblins I don't think anything is as challenging.

It will keep your attention for some time as there are many different ways to get through the levels. It gives you options which is nice for this day and age. Its like a platformers deus ex when it comes to choice. Though generally you will find that the warrior is less played and that you spent most of your time either as the rogue or the wizard as they are the most playable. I feel like the warrior was just added in there so they could call the game trine.

It may sound like I'm bashing the game a little but in the end I enjoyed it a lot. Probably the most through the achievement challenges and trying to beat the last level without taking any damage.

If you buy it and you like platforming games you'll love it.

This game brings a new edge to the zombie apocalypse genre. As a platform game it is very rich in detail and deep in story. I would compare it to the likes of Trine but of course with a more realistic feel.

Although the puzzles in the game are not that difficult, it keeps you entertained by occasionally requiring the use of one of your abilities, like shouting to get attention from zombies, to get past particular parts. Some parts are fast paced where you don't stop to kill zombies whereas others are take it slow and search to find the secrets of each stage. Which are sometimes interestingly hidden. This brings back memories of the old platform games from the 90s.

The controls are simple and not overly complex which gets you into the game very fast. You really only need your movement and action keys of swinging an axe or interacting with an object. Though of course you can shoot the different guns and slingshots that you get and as previously mentioned get the attention of people through the shout key. The stamina bar is a nice addition and adds to the realism of the game that swinging an axe at zombies does make you tired! So you have to be careful not to overdo it and back off as required.

I played this with keyboard and mouse but you can play with the controller also, and I think it would make an excellant relax on the sofa game.

A highly recommended game from me all around.

I was very excited about this game. It looked like something very new and interesting was happening. Instead I found a clunky, buggy game which lacked umhpf to keep me interested in it.

You spend so much time trying to find objectives, and fight through scenarios in repeating maps... running forever through stupidly huge environments which don't even have a woah factor.

I had even though that the multiplayer might be nice to play with friends but it was just as boring with friends.

To give it some credit the idea behind the game is nice. The cyberpunk theme is there but they tried to put too much into it and its just far too unpolished... and I don't think they could ever polish it enough to be nice.

I do like the graphics and general gameplay of Ghosts, especially the single player. If you liked the other CoD games then you'll like this. The levels are fun to play and keep the general action theme to them.

You get to run around in tanks and helicopters and even control the loki satelite at the end to blow lots of stuff up. If you like action it won't let you down, although the story takes an odd dive here and there but its just trying to set it up for the next one. I don't know if I'll be as hyped about Ghosts II.

Though as always its let down by its lag in the PvP multiplayer. With no proper dedicated servers you end up with hosts disconnecting, lag and dying a lot from enemies you don't even see until the killcam shows you they stabbed you in the face.

The idea behind the Co-Op multiplayer is very nice with the alien infestation and the survival mode. It gets very tricky and a good team is needed to see the levels through to the end. If you don't know people to play with and make your own team it can be very frustrating with people disconnecting or not doing what they are supposed to, to complete challenges to complete achievements or just to make it through to the end.

I'll be very blunt... it isn't worth the money I paid for it for the enjoyment. I'd recommend waiting till it goes on sale but knowing CoD games they never get discounted much.

By far one of the best games I own. The general gameplay style it truely is a game of play it your own style. Although the most benefits come from playing it stealthy, it doesn't have to be that way.

With multiple ways to get to places, such as breaking through walls, hacking doors and gates to jumping up or finding your way through ducts. There is normally a way you didn't realise you could get to somewhere before you actually find it when you're already inside a building.

You also have a whole range of weaponry to see you through, ranging from the pacificts weapons such as stun guns and P.E.P.S knockdown, to combat rifles, revolvers and even rocket launchers if you have the desire to blow stuff up.

Though the most captivating part of Deus Ex: Human Revolution is the storyline. If you enjoy the conspiracy theories regarding the illuminati, then this is a must play. It will take you down the rabbit hole.

When I first played Deus Ex: HR I didn't play the missing link. Though after replaying the directors cut and getting that missing part really makes a difference. If you have the cash to spare and want an interesting, involving, captivating storyline. This is the game you want to buy.

One of the best tower defense games I've played. Totally addictive!

I played Defense Grid: The Awakening back in 2011 and spent a lot of time replaying all the levels to get a gold medal in all the levels. I'm now revisiting it again in 2014 and I've found its still as good as the first time around but they've added so much now along with a DLC if you're willing to spend $5.

The different modes give numerous ways to play the different levels. Some will require you to play without gun and cannon turrets where other modes will give you a 10 tower limit or green towers only. Green towers being the tower without any upgrades. So this game will keep you busy for hours upon hours trying to get a gold medal. There being Bronze, Silver and Gold for each level.

The original Awakening campaign sports 20 levels each with anything from 4-10 different modes to get gold on. If you enjoy getting achievements there is one to get 150 gold medals on the Awakening campaign alone. Then there are additional campaigns of Borderlands, Resurgence and Portal (You Monster) which have 5 additional levels each and of course the DLC called containment.

You can see the hours racking up here. So in regards to value for money it is definitely a good buy.
