Introduced to CS in May of 1999 at the LA E3 conference by one of the developers. Having finishing HL, I was intrigued by the team aspect of play. I wasn't a heavy gamer, but found myself completely engulfed in the game. Played on the WON network until it shutdown in 2004, then forced to play in steam. Played in many Tourney's and in some leagues, then quit cold turkey when my kid turned 8 in 2005. Contacted Steam to see if I can get my ID back, as my email had changed over the years, and I'm back again, but this time just for fun and the overall enjoyment, without the extreme competitiveness of league & tourney play.
