If you think watching videos online of HL: Alyx game play is nice, just wait until you play it in VR. Being "in" the HL universe is quite a different experience than traditional gaming. I enjoy every minute of this game. The environments are well detailed and interesting. This is the best VR FPS experience I've had. It is very much what I imagined it should be in HL and more.
The story, dialogue, navigation, et al, culminate into a fine game. It's the way you experience it in VR that takes it to the next level. I spend more time poking around and looking at the little details than anything else. I love the direction that VR is taking this franchise. Lets hope it continues...

Accept the inevitable. You will die. You will do so swiftly. Laugh and start over. Play this with friends and dont take it too seriously.

Knowing a bit of the history of this games creation doesnt taint my dislike for it. The game plays clunky and falls short of expectations. Jerky multiplayer doesnt help.
