The game runs perfectly fine.
Caveat, I am running a RTX 5090 and Ryzen & 9800x3d.

Outside of this, in the 8 hours I've played, the game gives me a lot of good vibes, similar to Sekiro when I first played it. Sekiro was my gateway to Soul's Likes.

I would consider this one of the best renditions of what FromSoftware does with their games, with some slight adjustments.

I like the weapon system, and leveling system, although I couldn't care less about using any other weapon outside the long sword.

I liked First Berzerker, but this game just feels like it has more depth. The story, gameplay and scenery.

Could be the best GTA-Like ever made.....

I love the changeup of the new system compared to other souls-like, but I could also see this as a detriment

Fakest open world I can remember in a while. I get it's not a souls like, but make enemies have some backbone. The combat is extremely repetitive, button mashing can get you very far. Skill checks only happen at bosses, but they are not very high skill checks. Entry level skill required to play this game, but I could see this game being a good way to get players unable to play souls likes into souls likes. If I had to rate this as a adventure game 7/10, as as a souls like (which it is not) 4/10. I've read the bosses get more difficult, but since it has a dodge system, I still don't expect much of a challenge. The skills make the game too ez, if you are a souls like player, maybe play without using skills. Still, it's going to get repetitive. The open world is non-existent. Maybe it changes later, but I am extremely underwhelmed, and I would only say buy if you have nothing else to play. Overall, I give the game a 7/10.

At first, I thought the game was just very fun, nothing else, didn't care about graphics, or anything else, just a good overall fun game.

Then the game changed, and changed and changed. I feel like I am playing a new game every week. Which technically, I believe this what the Devs went for. The dynamic ever changing landscape of missions, rewards, and even GM punishments make this game hard to sit down. I don't usually stop playing the game because I am bored, I usually stop because I feel like I have spent too much time playing.

I was thinking this game had no chance for game of the year, but this game should be considered, and should probably win. When you think of a game you want to play you want a sub set of things in order to know you will spend a decent amount of time, and that you are getting your moneys worth. The dynamic ways the game constantly changes, and the fact that we haven't even had a chance to see 50% of the game, tells me this game what it takes to be a winner for GOTY award. Dynamic missions, dynamic game play, maps seem procedurally generated, I feel like I am on a different map every game, also having different types of teammates, it just makes for a fun time, and a great game. I can't see myself playing anything else in the near future.

If you don't have it, give it a try. You are missing out, don't think of this one as a shooter, tho it is, think of this one like a open world, squad based horde shooter, with a little bit of RPG element for having the option of doing side quests.

I honestly cannot recommend this game to anyone that has played the Arkham series. I believe had I never played the Arkham series, this game could hold it's own, though it lacks in variety and entertainment. The characters are interesting, the idea of it being a rpg is also interesting, it's just underwhelming and executed poorly by their development.

Issues I have ran into within 7 hours:
-Does not save my controls, I need to set them everytime I start a new game
-Movement system is extremely clunky, it's extremely frustrating, and again unfortunately it will be compared with Arkham, its lacking horribly, they should not have released this game as is. I honestly want to ask for a refund even though I have played 7 hours.
-Fight system reminds me of something you would find in 2010. I believe I understand what they were trying to do, but it doesn't work, if it isn't broke dont fix it. Arkham battle systems puts this game to absolute shame.

As I said above, they should not have released this game, it's uninspring, incomplete, poorly designed, boring and unlikeable. I found red hood to be fun, but that's it, I tried so hard to enjoy it, but I kept thinking I wanna go play Arkham Knight. It's really sad a game that had so much potential fell so flat. I wish there could be a redo, and maybe they can do that after release, but this would require an entire rebuild of the system which may take years. They missed a big opportunity, I wont ask for a refund because I know developers work hard, but who ever directed this game completely missed the mark in virtually every single category.

Beat it on xbox4 or 5 times. Bought it on steam, love this game. It's better than Elden Ring, it should have been given a 10, it's a twitch gamers dream to play something with this pacing. Wished elden ring played more like this, but both good - great games.

Embrace the struggle. If it's too hard, grind, come back. Dominate!

Best MMO I have played in years. Very complete game

Inventive, likely will be copied. Great idea, and great implementation. I see why it WILL win game of the year.
