A soulless and fairly boring game:
-Cities/Settlements feel empty and just thrown in.
-Lack of anything besides ship to ship combat make it tiresome after the thousandth ship sunk.
-No real choice driven character or crew progression; which would have given the player something to work towards.
-Naval combat is okay, but ships are just ugly.
-Hey the ocean and weather are really cool and pretty.
-Commodity overload, do I really need 15 million items in my cargo hold that I have not idea or care about what they are?
-The "I get to play dress up" with my pirate and ship felt pointless and way too big of an element in the game.
-Crew needs to sing more shanties.

Where has this game been? It is a real gem, I am loving it.

I spent money on a real computer and can run the game perfectly fine.

(Sorry was tired of the bad "my POS computer cant load" reviews.

Really digging this game, and want more. Cant wait to see what the final product looks like.

I am sure that this game is a work of passion for the developers and they have invested much of their skill and work into, however it is not my "my cup of tea." It leaves me with the feeling of "been there, done that" when compared to any civ game with/without mods.

There is tons of work put into it, and I am know there is probably much depth and potential to the game, but I am not willing to chew all the gristle to get to the meat. Plan and simple the gameplay is clunky and cumbersome, and does not leave me with that "I gotta have one more turn feeling."

I am sorry, but honestly I can not recommend this game in it's current state; feels more like work than fun. These developers surely have more skill and talent than I, but I am not willing to invest my money in their effort.
