A lot changed from the release version. It still taxes your system much harder than other game with similar graphical complexity.

They changed the skills system pretty heavily to make the game harder, though i personally think many of the changes were done to pad out the game. Before you were pretty much a walking god by end game, not so much so now. Netrunner build is still pretty good, but not nearly as op.

Graphics cleaned up but otherwise exactly the same as the original. Same sort of makeover that AOE2 got.

If DCS and Ace Combat had a baby. Though you can play without a hotas or trackir its considerably easier and simpler with them.

The flight models aren't the best, the graphics aren't amazing. But it does everything well enough so you can focus on gameplay. Its not nearly as arcadey as ace combat, but then im also not buried under systems management like in dcs. Reminds me a lot of Carrier Command in terms of gameplay. Also nukes.

Maybe in a year or two it will work at a playable level, but right now its too rough. Units do not follow commands, individual and formations orders seem to be broken so controlling your units is like trying to herd cats, aircraft are even worse. Many weapons seem to not work right and the AI does crazy things like stopping in the middle of battle or turning around and going in circles, sometimes aircraft will just fly in a circle rather than attacking.

One day this game will be good, but might consider something else until then.

A great game but not really meant for single player. You end up task saturated single player, but multi is most amusing as long as people know how to use the vehicles.

Instead of repeating actions over and over you spend your time as a resource, decision making being the primary gameplay element. Most games of this style you follow a list of goals and just horde everything you find. but with this one you have to think about what you are going to be doing with your time in game rather than just stuffing boxes with resources until you have enough. There is considerable degradation so items can't be endlessly repaired and food can't be endlessly horded making for a refreshing build/survival experience.

It has some minor annoyances, all the animals want to murder you for whatever reasons, the graphics are a little dated and the animations aren't as smooth as other games. For what you get its an excellent sale buy.

I feel like this is the same engine with all its bugs and problems with slightly different graphics. Does not run better, looks marginally better. There are crashes and weird behaviors, one would think that bohemia after all this time would have a better direction to be working towards, sadly this is not the case. I really don't get why they don't make something new.

Doubtful if it will ever be more than a tech demo, should of been released like a demo because that is about all you get.

Was really rough, graphical problems and glitches everywhere. But after 6 years of development via steams early access we have a game so polished there is a dark mode for the ficsit shop. Either your company can use early access as a dumping ground for 20$ games, or you can use it to create perhaps the best builder out there, at least until Factorio Space Age comes out.
