A good game to spread the Christmas cheer by spamming peoples' activity feed with an achievements bomb.

As an Australian, co'oping with a crocodile is the most realistic part of this game.

Basically like the original but with all DLC and more crowded streets. So unless you don't have the original game, or already have the game but really enjoy running large crowds of people over and then cheesing it from the cops, you could more or less skip this game.

Strengths:
- Decent visuals.
- Engaging story and likable characters.
- Beating people up with your fists or if it fancies you, an assortment of weapons including handbags.
- Fighting with people over who is driving on the wrong side of the road.
- Being sworn at in Cantonese.
- Achievements.

Weaknesses:
- Needs a controller.
- Karaoke.
- Bugs, I experienced more here than the original.

Revelations 2012 was a game that accurately predicted the disastrous end to any sort of quality control imposed by Valve with the introduction of Steam Direct a mere five years later. With that said, this game is better than the slurry of asset-flipping, RPG Maker, 'retro' high school project calamities that are somehow sold as games on Steam these days. It plays more or less like a Left 4 Dead mod...okay, if you close your eyes and use your imagination. Now that it's free you have nothing to lose, well except your will to live.

A game that begged for more effort, Homefront fails to capitalise on an emotionally charged introduction, and opts instead, to follow a generic run-and-gun shooter with no regards for story pacing. Bland, boring and outright annoying characters leaves you finding the Korean Army being more relatable as you now fully understand their righteous cause to exterminate this nuisance game. This game should really only be played for achievements, and if you have somehow managed to do the impossible by clearing out your gaming backlog.

- Build dozens of brand new apartment blocks.
- People continue to choose to live in shacks.
- Have them executed out of spite.

Fun.
