Postal 2, while it is a sequel to Postal 1 it is something almost entirely different outside of the name. Postal 3 is also kind of its own thing.

Postal 2 is a fun, old style FPS shooter where you play as the "Postal Dude" and preform the errands you are given, of course, it is entirely up to you weather you want to do those tasks as the game is a minor open world ( With loading screens inbetween each chunks. ). The game is split up into 'Days' where you are given certain tasks each day of the week, depending on the day you are playing in some new buildings may be opened for you and others may be closed!

The games graphics are acceptable, the main visual flavor from the game is probably the gore system; Depending on the weapon you use you can easily chop off enemy limbs and gib them! Its really become a rarity in modern games and a nice change of pace, not to mention sometimes enemies can even live after chopping off their limbs and you can see them run around with one arm etc. :)

The games humor is heavy satire, comparable to South Park. For example, at the beggining of the game you are fired from Postal Dudes job as a game developer at Running with Scissors ( The name of the developer of Postal 2 ).

The game still recieves a lot of updates from the developer despite it being so old; They even released a new expansion pack just a few months ago!

Also, there is a dedicated pee button.

As of right now I do not feel the game is playable but if you are the kind of person that loves financing great concepts this is definitely the game to get. Kenshi is a open world action-strategy hybrid where you control one unit at the start, a character that you can gain stats with by doing natural things like running, attacking and carrying lots of weight. Sadly, it seems the game is rather barren on the 'quest' and 'story' aspects, there being pretty much nothing to do with friendly NPC's in cities besides buying supplies, getting new companions or straight up killing everybody. I am not one of those RPG 'purists' that absolutely need a story but the issue here is that as of February 14th, 2014 there is essentially no content for the player besides looking around for bandits to kill and building a base.

All of this would be fine if the games combat system worked, which it does but its painfully simply. You click on your guy and you click on your enemy and whoever has the best stats win ( Most likely your opponent at the start considering that they are pretty much always better then your character stat wise. ) There are a few unique quirks to combat like picking up wounded enemies and healing them back to health after a battle which most games dont do and I personally had the most fun doing.

Overall, as of right now I dont feel like the game is worth playing but I feel like it is a good investment for the future.

Europa Universalis is a grand strategy game in the same genre as games like Total War II, Crusader Kings II and Civilization. In this game you chose to play as one individual country such as 'England' or 'France' and try to conquer, trade or marry your way to the top of the competition while dealing with the changing times. The games timespan spans between the Fifteenth century ( You can go back as far as the 7th if you buy the game 'Crusader Kings 2', also made by Paradox and use the converter DLC to move your game from that game over to EU4 ) and the Nineteenth century so you will see everything from the hundred years war and the reformation to the colonization of America and the French revolution. Not every game will play out exactly as history laid out, players should never expect their game to play out -exactly- how the real world did it but you can expect it to vaugely fall in line most of the time.

However, try the demo before you buy it, it is much, much different then any other game in the series and leagues ahead of other games in the genre like Rome and Civilization. Nearly every system is almost entirely overhauled from trade to the graphics engine itself, giving the game its entirely own unique 'taste'. The game is constantly being updated with both free and paid updates. While the argument on weather the games DLC is worth it goes more to the individual DLC itself I still feel that the base game itself is worth getting into if you are willing to put the time into it.

Dont expect to be able to have quick games! A individual game can potentially last you between fifty and hundreds of hours depending on the pace you want to set for yourself and the timescale you chose and even longer if you play a converted game form CK2! While the game might be hard to get into if you are a seasoned Civilization or Total War fan I still feel like this game is a real treat if you can rough out the edges here and there.
